She has melodious voice whatever she chooses will be nice to hear but here it's not PAL PAL BUT "PAL BHAR BHEI JANA HO JINDE " which means o man sit for a while, have some rest under the soothing shadow and cool breeze of Haripur , Nurpur ( Erstwhile princely states of kangra near Jammu). We r avid fans of her legendary mom Malika ji Pukhraj , had she been alive , she would not only have corrected her in lyrics but would also have made her understand its meaning as well. As she said in the beginning that its meaning should be that life passes slowly slowly, which is incorrect. Anyway we enjoyed her version as well. 😊

What a soulful rendition 🎉🎉 Just a small addition-. Nurpur, Haripur, Nadaun were parts of ki gdom of Kangra/ Nagarkot/ Trigrath. It was ruled by Katoch dynasty ( 1400 years of continuous rule . Maharaja Ghamand hand was given a title of Mian and ruled Jullundhar Doab( between Sutluj and Beas. Haripur , Nurpur were " Thikaana"place of seating / adminstration. In colloquial language " Thikaana" is " Thana". The lyrics are " Mian Katoche da Thana- Thana " Mian is used as an honorific ahead of Katoch kings. . There are no Baloch in this part of the country nor ever were . It's Rajput Dogra land . Even today , most Katoch, Pathania , Rana etc are referred to as Mian Sahibs in Himachal, Jammu.

When I was in Pakistan in the early 80s as a student, I used to listen her, her mother and many great singers on PTV. I really enjoy Pakistani ghazals, folk songs and even pop blends. My best wishes.

These are Himachali Pahadi language song not dogri. Language used here is kangri & mandeali not jammu dogri , which despite being similar is not same....all places mentioned in these songs are in himachal three districts ( Hamirpur, kangra, mandi ) & not in jammu & kashmir & punjab , part of old kangra & mandi state of himachal.
song has changed on pakistani side , it's not balocho ka theekana but katocho ka theekana. There is no place called lakesar but there's is kalesar in himachal pradesh kangra district. There are many other changes in the song overtime on Pakistani side.
I belong to Nadaun, in India Himachal pradesh, which this kangri song is referring to. Kalesar is 5 Km far from Nadaun, this Shakti Pith is considered ever more pias than Haridwar. We Live in Nadaun in a house which is more than 100 years old, and have 48 room inside it. Such a rich heritage of Himachal Pradesh, its also called Dev Bhumi 🙏 Place of Gods.
