Colette, Thank you for sharing your extraordinary collection of Navajo cuffs and the family history that makes each of them so meaningful. Claire was such a beautiful woman and her floral turquoise cuff is such a special piece. ❤
Stunning collection! You’re such a delight to watch. First phase Concho belt WOW! What a remarkable piece of history to have in your family! Look forward to your next video.
What a pleasant surprise to discover your channel, Colette🧡I have been left with my mouth open-literal- admiring your impressive collection of authentic Navajo pieces, with the added beauty of your first-hand knowledge and the warmth with which you share your own family history. Thanks to your words and your emotions, I can represent the beautiful Claire. You are right, Colette, never let go of that incredibly beautiful floral turquoise bracelet. You transported me to a world of beauty, tradition and personal memory. And I thank you for that.
@@MercheDanko Ohhh wow…now I’m left with my mouth wide open after reading your lovely, lovely note. That truly means a lot hearing that because I am a very private person and it is not easy to open up to anyone and everyone. Your words give me affirmation to continue my journey of sharing this history of my grandmother. There is so much more…much love to you ❤️Colette
Such stunning pieces. I wish I could wear cuffs, but I have a very hard time with their fit. I loved that you did not show in your light box because the cat was asleep. It just shows what a kind person you are. Love your site cannot wait for more 💙❤️💜
Colette your pieces are amazing and the family history makes them so special!!! You are the best custodian for such beautiful pieces as you are a beauty that matches your Great Grandmother Claire’s!!!!!! I look forward to more to come in the future.
incredible pieces! Your grandmother was stunning and stylish to match! Great video...I'm relatively new to this community but looking forward to more of your videos!
Great video! Loved seeing all your pieces! I never get tired of seeing turquoise jewelry. Even some vendors here in New Mexico will use the term “old pawn” when the jewelry is just older and not truly old pawn pieces.
I believe you can make an informed guess mostly by examining the piece but I think it’s used way too loosely on eBay…same thing with “Fred Harvey Era”. I think a lot of people do that just to draw people in and not necessarily that it’s accurate.
Beautiful collection! Thanks for sharing ❤ Interesting construction on the turquoise and coral set your mom wore. I think those are my favorites. I had a bracelet constructed similar to yours at 4:45. I thought it might be Harvey era, too but the triangular wires threw me off.
WOW~ Great Video, those earrings look so good on you too - You are so right someone even told me not to use Old Pawn unless I had the Pawn Receipt of Deposit, but I think thats a bit extreme, it has been adopted to mean older unmarked sterling patina'd pieces and Im ok with that though you are so right! You made another awesome video, congrats!
What a beautiful collection and family history! So special!! ❤❤❤

@@kathyblain5544 Thank you Kathy! Sasha had a difficult past life so if she wants to curl up in the light box then I’m ok with that 🐈

Yea I think they were later than the FH era…maybe even into the 50s. The last one I showed that was my grandmothers was around 1920-1930…very early.
