    What an absolute joy to watch this interview! Max and Gregor, you are both so thoughtful and elegantly sincere, eloquent, in expressing yourselves. It was very nice to go a little deeper into your personal stories beyond the fabulous music and musical influences you both share with the world. Someone else below commented that Max's interviewing skills are top notch. I think this is true for both guys here today, and I enjoyed this very much! Thank you.

    Two of my favorite music people on UA-cam....so great to watch. From the early days of tx66 and Studio One - Getting Started, you guys introduced perspectives on the world of music creation that can only be described as a gifts. Thank you both and all the best!

    I am a lifelong musician, guitar player, singer, worked for years in all kinds of local cover bands, solo acts, etc.
    Grew up in the late 80s, and I am, was, all about only electric guitar, Van Halen, Satriani, etc. I am still that, but I've always had a little dark secret of loving techno/ midi synth stuff.
    I am now out of it, but just started setting up my home studio again, love presonus, and in trying to learn the software, get into it again, I of course found Gregor. He is a true genius on knowing this stuff, as are you, ( whom I found in the same process).
    Finding a way to be full inn and make a livng doing your art, is hard, and, you are blessed to have that. And I love this podcast...
    Great stuff man
    And, i realize with this podcast, and watching Gregor, I have been limiting myself to rock, guitar stuff, for no reason. Music is music...

    Max you have another skill, interviewing people, you are so eloquent and ask really good questions, ones that you would like to ask yourself. I'm a 75 year old musician and have had the thoughts you both described today for ever, but nobody talks about it and if you talk to someone about it, they just glaze over. I think I will watch this again, shame you cannot like it twice.

    What a fantastic conversation! Every question and answer could inspire hours of extended inquiry. You really are a great interviewer. I almost wish I’d discovered this podcast a few years into the future so that I had another 40 or so episodes to binge. But alas…Will just have to wait, like everyone else ;)
    Also found Gregor to be a great guest. Such a great disposition and offered so many valuable insights. Very much looking forward to the next episode 😁

    Wow! I'm supposed to be working, but two of the coolest music minds in conversation - so enjoyable! PreSonus, please pay attention, these two guys are a dynamic duo. Not only with Studio One, but Moreso where PreSonus can go in the future. EXCELLENT!

    Gregor your accent is fine, your tutorials great and extremely valuable. Max I still listen to your demos and find ways to still learn after 2 decades composing music. You guys are amazing!

    Great questions and great answers! This was a wonderful conversation =-)
    My favorite part was where you asked him if Gregor could make 3 types of music and what would they be and then the conversation and stories that followed that.

    ? Does just intonation (W.A. Mathieu, ‘Harmonic Experience’) fit into Studio One and/or digital music production?

    • @maxkonyi
      @maxkonyi  Рік тому +1

      It does! There are certain plugins that are designed to allow for JI (as well as many other systems of tuning) in the DAW environment. This is possible because MIDI notes can be tuned/pitch-shifted individually, on the fly. Definitely something I'm looking to explore more...
