I had a note of body when I was 17 I went to three different realms the third realm was of a gold city I was there for about 3 minutes or so to return to back to the room where I could see my body... We are pure awareness..👁️😽👁️
Dallas you are already heavily missed.....was looking forward to seeing you in '22 after all this hysterical bullshit ended......seems like it's taking its toll on the best people.....RIP you beautiful genius and kind hearted soul!!! So glad i got to speak with you in Lancaster PA about our mutual friend Andre, and you put us on the guest list to the sold out show with KV.....god bless you my friend! Last show was @ Johnny Brendas in Philly about 6 weeks before the world ended....2 sets of the best band on the f'n planet!! Long Live The Sadies and the transcendental Dallas Good!!!
This video is uncanny. So beautiful, the lyrics are insightful premonitions. RIP Dallas Good, I saw your face and cried today. I trust you are in heaven playing with all the angels.
Very, very sad to hear today that Dallas has departed from us. Thanks for the memories and your great music. I was so looking forward to seeing The Sadies play again here in Spain.
My heart goes out to the band and especially to Travis and the family. I hope you find a way to press on and continue to do what you love when the grieving is over.
I had the extreme privilege of calling Dallas a friend. I met him in the 90s when he worked at Songbird on Queen. He was playing in one of my favourite bands back then The Satanatras. So good. This is heartbreaking truly. I’d not seen him in many years and always wanted to reach out to him. Too late now. Sorry Dallas. What a $&@&ing shame. He’s will go up for sure.
This is one of those songs that sounded instantly familiar the moment I heard it, and still utterly brand new. And now I keep catching snippets of it in other tunes: old songs, new songs, pop, country, rock, swing, jazz, doesn't matter, all over the place. Like it was there all along. Like the temporal order of influences clocked into reverse, or eddying, or swirling all around. A song of songs. Strangest damn thing. Unprecedented in my experience.
saw them a couple times in London at Call the Office, an experience I will always remember, these guys transported you somewhere else watching them live. rip dallas
As a guitarist, I say "put more reverb on that reverb, and put some reverb on those vocals" - this is a great song. The most authentic retro sound I've ever heard. Like, written in a basement in Winnipeg during the winter in the late 60's authentic :D I think these guys are from Toronto, but I'm from MB and this is my reality ha ha
There are a very small number of artists/bands who get better and better with each release as they age and grow....this is surely one of those bands. When the dark clouds lift a little - please come to the farthest reaches of eastern Canada for a show!
This song is fucking beautiful, this video is perfect, as are you beloved Sadies. Seeing you live was transcendent. Dallas will be missed through the ages. Gone far too soon. RIP. Love ♥️
Brilliant song and fabulous video. Gorgeous. Always loved the 60's psychedelic/pop sound/groove in your music and adored your live shows over and over again through the years. A real loss. RIP Dallas and my deepest condolences (and also deep thanks for all the uncompromising great music) to friends, family and the fabulous band. Dallas you always looked and sounded like the epitome of cool, as did the whole band.
Interesting lyrics for the last song released before dallas’s passing- lovely song/ i am going to miss this band so much- beyond unbelievable what happened.
Great song, great video! I love this band! Kinda alt-Canadian, cow punk ,with some psychedelic-surf thrown into the mix. Please come to Pittsburgh on the next tour, whenever that may be?
I was lucky enough to see Dallas in a few different places on the streetcar he was going to the airport along Queen Street with his friend Greg Keeler from Blue Rodeo and to see them in the horseshoe tavern playing 👁️ 🎴👁️
RIP Dallas. A true legend.
I don't understand death. I never will. His music & his voice will live forever. I keep listening to this on repeat. RIP Dallas.

Truly a great song from a uniformly excellent band which plays surf- folk- psych- country music
This song suddenly has a new and tragic meaning.

Yet another video appropriating the visual genius of films by Georges Méliès -- all of which are in the public domain.
