She was 17 at the time.
Ye crazy!
It's true tho
It’s funny how a non-vocalist picks up on stuff that I’ve not even heard vocalist reactors mention. Very insightful
As a drummer, you kind of have to learn to listen to everything when the drums have to hold it all together 😁
9:53 Listen to the piano version for real magic
This was actually her debut song, released just a day before she turned 18. It was instantly a big hit and is still her most-viewed and streamed song. There's also a piano version on her channel which showcases her vocals more IMO, so it would be nice if you checked that out as well.
Thanks for the reaction, excited for Friday's.
It was nothing like her debut song. It was her first origional song wrote FOR her, and not a cover- yes. But she was already pretty famous on niconico etc in japan for her great covers. It just exploded after Usseewa.
@@elevown It's still her debut song.
yeaa i mean you can tell this song is her "legally" debut
For the shout transition, it's a strereotypical Japanese delinquent thing to say "Huh?" like that expressing a sense of "What the f--- did you just say to me?" You'll see it in some anime. It goes along with the rebel attitude of the song.
Usseewa was the 6th fastest song in history to reach 100 million plays on Billboard Japan after just 17 weeks. It reached 100 million views on YT after just 148 days. Turn on subtitles. The song caused great criticism among Japan's elderly for its critical view of Japanese working life. Recommend Love Ka and Gira Gira.
This was her debut song coming out the day before her 18th birthday, truly a talented singer. Her range and the way you can feel the emotion she puts into her singing is just amazing, my favorite Japanese artist.
I have a list for Ado:
- Freedom
- Bocca Della Verita
- 馬鹿 歌いました
- Domestic De Violence
- Ashura-chan
- Readymade
These are Ado's best performances for me (beside "God-ish" and "Crime and Punishment" ofc, that would be cheating)
The newest release was really good too!
You’ve pointed out a lot of things not a lot of other reactors have! I love they way you pick it apart!
Thanks! I’ve played and listened to music for years and being a drummer really helped tune my ear to small details!
She made kind of a one-take of this song in a piano version where u can actually see a glimpse of her (blurred of course). So yeah this was recorded and optimized, but she can do all of that in one shot! Also, subtitles!!! turn them on ;)
3:54この部分の音程はAdoの提案でこのようになったと、Adoと楽曲提供者との対談で言ってました。

Ado LOCKS!]
Wow great to know, thank you for the information.
I AM SO GLAD YOU REACTED TO THIS!!! Ado is amazing and everyone deserves to know. Some of her songs have english subtitles available and this is one of them. I reccomend when you have time to check out what the Lyrics means
You should check out her newest song “Show” it’s amazing
You may be happy about Fridays video 🤫
The way i screamed when i saw this video. What a great way to start my morning! Thank you so much ❤😊
I would love to see a drum cover of this!
🤔
This was her debut song released in 2020 and she was about 17 when she recorded it
YESHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Thank youuuuu!! I love Ado and I Love your reactions to her, Thank you good sir!! TuT
She was actually 17 turning 18 when she produced this song
I'm pretty sure I found Ado through Sheena Ringo. They're definitely distinct vocalists but if you've heard Ado's Crime and Punishment that will give you an idea of what she can sound like. I'd say the main difference between Ado and most other vocalists is her incredibly vocal versatility within a song. Most vocalists, understandably, will do one or two of the things she does. And she started recording during the pandemic I'm pretty sure. Bananas.
If you want to hear this sang even better and live- check out usseewa piano version! Its also got blurry reflected image of her singing it- the best look at Ado you'll ever see probably.
Also- watch this again sometime for yourself but with the sub on :) The lyrics are great lol- and a big part of what made it a hit with japans youth- and hated by most of the adults lol.
The lyrics give the song more oommf!
I love that vocal flick she does with the HuuuUUHH?!? bit, like it’s almost a sfortzando but also a sliding tone idk it’s very fun and kinda carves out it’s own contrast with how it goes quickly up down up again
USEEWA piano version, u should check it also. U will see how raw her voice
You NEED to listen to her piano version, its her natural voice, no efects no nothing
I highly recommend readmade especially with subtitles it is insane and also I understand you are analyzing the singing, but it would be great for you to also react to the lyrics maybe after the initial reaction. Also this is your UA-cam channel so run it how you want I will watch no matter what,. (sorry if this came off weird)
Finally we got this
Check out the live version!!! You'll love it for sure
check the piano version of this song
she was 17 when she sang this
I love Ado's Odo and Dignity ❤❤
The "Ha?" at the beginning of the chorus is the Japanese equivalent to "what the f*** did you say?" or "did you want something or should I punch you right now?" coming from a female delinquent aka Yankii. The more intimidating the better, and Ado has it pretty much down. It's basically the same with "Useewa" (Shut up), "Maji Yabanai" (really really bad/crazy), "Kuso Darii na" (f***ing awful or in this context tired (of everything)) etc etc, it's all kind of youth slang that's not very friendly. You probably already did, but you should give a read to the translated lyrics, it's "adjusted" so it mirrors that sentiment.
I'd love to see you react side-by-side to the 【Ado】うっせぇわ (Usseewa) [Giga Remix] version of Usseewa with the original.
More ado pls
Love the videos but u should have turned on the captions
Sad he didn't turn on captions, the lyrics are good
So happy you got it listen to this! I love this song. I would highly recommend checking out the lyrics.
「がなり」「うなる」という方法で、アドは、低い声だったけど、音域を上げるために、高い曲をたくさん練習した末、音域が化け物になった👻
U forgot to turn on subtitles ^^
Finally Ado again😅
Cannot wait for next week
Also the week after that cuz on the 18th will be another release as far as i know😅
Please check out the awesome all female japanese rock.metal band and their song RISE or Adabana!
Usseewa means "s the f off"
React to ready steady ado cover pls 🙏🏿
9:53 Listen to the piano version of usseewa and see that you fool.
So we expecting an useewa cover? 👀
Why is it that reactors dont use subtitles when reacting to ADO so they actually know what she is singing?
In my case, I’m a drummer, so listening to the technique and styling is more of my priority on the first listen. Sorry.
dont even worry about it, this dudes just a grump. can help add a bit of context if you ever feel like it though :)
Honestly the studio version was nothing compared to the live preformance, she absolutely outdid herself there
You can actually see a short fragment of the last chorus on the blue ray campanella trailer she has on her channel, you should check it out at some point
Is it so difficult to listen to a song? Why are you talking so much nonsense?
Cause it’s an analysis video. I pause pretty often to give insight and talk about things I notice. It’s ok though, cause I link the original video in the description if you just want to hear the song 😁
- Comes to watch an analysis/reaction video.
- Gets angry that person reacts.
Bro go listen the original if you dont want pauses💀
please never procreate
