- Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and folks who mother humans, furred, feathers, scales and plants ☺️ Nurturing things in need is the beautiful part of being human. I am grateful to be able to care for beavers and thank all of you for joining me as we build this sanctuary.
That being said, there are no tantrums quite like the empty bottle tantrum with a little fuzzy chonk who definitely doesn’t need more formula. Enjoy.

Kids don’t pick a time for tantrums, even on Mother’s Day. But, with the patience and belly rubs, she went back to a happy little girl. I must say, she has a thing for that rabbit. Always giving it a hard time 🥰

Awwwww... Tunia! Baby girl! I must admit to feeling my heart just twist at hearing her initial screams... The screaming seems to subside relatively quickly, but boy was the tantrum impressive. She is too adorable--even when behaving like a beaver who is famished, when she is definitely NOT undernourished--and that plump belly says all we need to know about that...!

Do you think it might help to give her a pacifier after her bottle? I know we give pacifiers to baby bats that are being hand raised, and they find it very comforting.
