All of your Japanese language classes will be with other foreign students. If you take classes taught in English, quite often Japanese students will participate making it a great opportunity to befriend the locals too. (^^) Feel free to ask any other questions!
Search 'Hirobun Nagashi Somen Kyoto'. They're listed on TripAdvisor! I'm pretty sure Hirobun also serves traditional food as well, but you can just order the nagashi somen :)

Just because when you study japanese, sometimes is different the words used when you hear speaking japanese. Sorry, I know you would need more time to do that, or maybe in some videos. 実は。。新聞あまり読めないですね。小説は頑張ったら読めますが、あまり読まないです！そして、半年前くらいから日本語の勉強はもうしていません。日本語の専攻も終わりましたので、いまのところは経済の勉強だけに集中しています。
