Great review and finally someone who is able to demonstrate the power reserve functionality properly.

Glad you enjoyed it, I have to say the power reserve isn't the most straight forward

    Great review
But did someone understood if the second disk on power reserve has any function, more than turning ?

Hi Barry, I'm sure you're right, it is a winner. The accuracy of Longines movements is improving all the time: really impressive.
I'd be interested to see you do a comparison between this watch and the Limes Big Date Power Reserve which also has an ETA engine...
It's a lovely watch and you've given us a great review. Thanks Barry, LG Bob 🍻

I watched the ad on the official Longines site & immediately got in love with Conquest, watched all the videos on UA-cam including yours (Thank you for detailed review!). And after a month of waiting I became a proud owner of the cream version. Vintage style, completely gorgeous dial, "gold" skyscrapers markers & the date on 12 in a golden frame. Love it! But it took me a while and several calls to Switzerland & my seller to understand that the power reserve arrow points with thicker side not the the thinner one. This is against the common sense. But still Longines - one love!

Pretty nice but not worth it’s price I get a vintage Rolex almost newly worn santos longines has no buisness to be in the price range near these giants 😭

I’d say it’s worth every penny, with regards to vintage Rolex models don’t forget to add the price of a service on top on the cost of the watch, plus many vintage watches I wouldn’t say are daily wearers not in the 3k price range Noel

@@ClickSpringReview speedmaster/tank/jlc better brand better movement same price it’s like if bmw wants to charge the same price as Porsche

Many people don’t want a used 2nd hand watch which 9 times out of 10 will need a service costing up to £1000 if they go to brand to have it done, plus you don’t know if it’s still water resistance plus will have scratches on it I dare say and let’s hope it hasn’t been stolen at some point, just saying Sir

@@ClickSpringReviewbut that’s not how it works though first the tank and the speedmaster are in the pricerange new just the jlc and the Rolex are slightly above and the slightly is 500/1000 bucks that’s not the range where you get a ruffed up watch these are the watches that layed in a store to watch how they look

@@noeljonah7248 The cheapest Speedmaster professional is over £6.2k so double the price of the Longines with its 5 year warranty and box and papers. Which 38mm Rolex models are you thinking of Noel
