Maybe a guy who lifted for 12 years, competed on a bodybuilding stage with relative success has anecdotal evidence of what works and what doesn't. Any bodybuilder knows protein shakes are for gullible kids. The best source nutrients come from the real thing. Short cuts won't get you swole. All of that protein will not be bioavailable anyways. Focus on making the body absorb nutrients not filling it with a bunch of artificially sweetened filler crap that's not tested or regulated.

It’s never to late for exercise, I just started working out and I’m in high school. When I was 13 I started working out then I started slacking and eventually stopped. I just got back into it. I use 20 and 15 pound dumbbells, I have a speed bag, punching bag and treadmill, eventually I’m getting a bar to lift real weights. It’s been 3 weeks and I feel stronger.
