That transition from Kidman to Sebastion was so great when you experience it for the first time.
For the first time? Man, I watch it from time to time. This is the absolute best game ending in my opinion.

Yes we hope for them to do it, especially me I love both Evil Within games. Although it’s very unlikely seeing the reports that the main writer/director of both games actually left the company that makes the game. So things are looking grim as of now for a EW3. 😤

In the beginning, we saw Kidman as a enemy, but really, in the end, even if we never saw it, she was really a friend.
Personally, this should be the end of Sebastian's story. If there's an EW3 (which might happen), either they make a new protagonist or Kidman should return as the main character.
It would be funny if its a grow up version of Lily. Maybe a Lily and Kidman girl style tag team. lol

Ist rare to see horror games with happy endings like that and i really like it
Overall is absolutely loved this game, while it did lack a little bit of the level variety of the first game, it made for it with its greatly improved plot, enhanced crafting/upgrade system, and tying up basically every lose end from the first game. While they're is still a couple of questions unanswered (Joseph location, Ruvik's fate, Did Sykes escape Union) they have no direct connection with the main story of game and therefore need not to be answered right away. (They might even be revealed in a future DLC. Pretty sure at least Sykes will be included in a DLC)

im 3 years late but after u complete sykes side mission theres a note on the table in his safehouse saying that he made it out of union
the ambiance in EW2 is also much less horrific, it's more of an apocalyptic atmosphere, with hints of fantastic thriller. there is also less gun variety, just some variants of rifles and the handgun of TEW1 if we complete the chases with the ghostly lady, in the first game there were grenades and a launcher, in the 2, only explosives arrows. This game is still pretty good, but it's a shame there's something which lacks to EW2 compared to the first game
Yea while I enjoyed both games I found part 2 the overall better package.

Such a good game! I really do miss the days of playing this game! It's kind of overlooked in a way and I can't wait to play it again. It reminds me of the days when I first for a new job and played the Evil Within series when I got home. Good times.

I had a few issues with this game compared to the original I won't go into, but damn if this wasn't one of the best ending sequences I've ever played. Still a really solid game

@@literallyvergil1686 Nah, I think its too soon. In Evil Within 1 he was still married, its just his wife disappeared. Then at the end of Evil Within 2 he just lost his wife. Its too soon for him to get with her after what happened.

The biggest problem of this first boss fight: Myra is shallow and boring as hell. She doesn’t have enough character or backstory like Ruvik. I wished that they’d develop her character in the second game but there was none. She was just a selfless good mom bruh bruh bruh. I couldn’t care less for her and Lily. Such a bad storytelling.

the last chapter could be made much more intense if there is a team of Mobius soldiers tightening the noose and surrounded the house and Seb has to fight his way through with the camera switching back and forth between Kidman and Seb while both of them are fighting off Mobius in the real world and STEM

Usually I'd go judging how the story goes and end. But this, hit me. Even if I'm trying not to weep and cry, but this? This is a heart touching ending that will leave you in tears. Darn. TTT___TTT

nahh. though i got tears in my eyes when he and myra said good bye to each other... but still they lacked creating that big time feeling a naughty dog game created for me for example. the open world also didnt help the story but more damaged it because it was just their to increase the playtime in an annoying way ^^

Got it on early release beat it on nightmare. The game is a psychological twist every corner. To all the haters your just upset cause they left out your unlimited ammo and sexual references every corner in your survival horror experience. 😂😂
Loved the ending and the game, but its more like a Resident Evil game not an Evil Within game... too much drama and a too small amount of brutality and insanity... Evil Within is not only a drama... its a brutal insane mental horror with maybe just a bit drama...

This was probably the hardest boss fight I've ever experienced. Not only because of the genuine. Difficulty but because of who it is.. How much he's struggled... How much he's gone through
