Sambar
Ingredients
Toor dal - 100 grams ( ½ cup)
Water - 1 ½ cups
Garlic cloves - 2
Oil - 2 tablespoon
Mustard - ½ teaspoon
Fenugreek - ¼ teaspoon
Cumin seeds - ¼ teaspoon
Curry leaves
Asafoetida
Shallots - 10
Green chilli - 1
Tomato - 1
Drumstick - 1, Carrot - ½ , Brinjal - 2
Salt
Turmeric powder
Sambar powder - 2 tablespoon
Tamarind juice
Coriander leaves

Sambar powder - 2tbsps + 1/4tsp
Ensure to boil for the murungakka for an extra 10 mins because it doesn't cook the same for everyone.

Excellent preparation.
