the meat of a brown coconut is WAY better than the water, and the water of a green coconut is WAY better than the meat

We use the meat from the brown coconut to make coconut oil. So never got to eating it
I love eating coconut cream.
Green coconuts do come on different types. In India we get tender coconut when we scrape the insides of the coconut after drinking its water and the meat is so squishy and tender and sweet. I love it. I always buy one with tender meat inside.

I've *NEVER* in my whole life seen somebody boil a whole artichoke and eat it like that. In Italy we clean them up, throw away the hard leafes outside(and they're munching on them, what), the fuzzies, and THEN we cook it.

I used to eat artichokes with my mom all the time, but she told me that you couldn't eat the hearts, only the leaves. Then she would sneak away and eat the delicious heart on her own.

Here's how I eat a crawfish;
1) I twist off the back part, pinch the two first joints of the shell, peel off and take out the meat.
2) I move to the claws twist them off, split the lower part of the claw and bite ONLY the tip off and suck out the meat from the widest part.
3) Then I move to the upper tip and either break or bite it off, repeating the previous step
4) Moving to the "knuckle" of the claw bite it open or crack open using a nut cracker and remove the meat there.
5) Go to the second arm and repeat 2, 3 and 4
6) Open the head and not sucking on it, take a crawfish utility and carve your way into the brain, we call this part "the butter" and it's arguebly the best part. xD
Swedish traditions of eating crawfish. You can optionally also take out the meat from the legs, but this is not easy because they're typically too soft for using your hands, however if you want to make a crawfish salad or something you can use a rolling pin and get the meat out. This meat is very tender and very sweet. :)

They are soo extra like, I just crack my coconuts on the concrete and it turns out just fine
You're supposed to crush garlic to release sulfur making the flavor stronger. While that might be handy that is not how a real chef will ever do it. It's a trick for the internet, not for cooking.
"But you can chop it up after." Yeah you can, but it's still not the same.
The more a garlic is finely destroyed the more flavor it has. Doing that and just chopping it won't be the same as crushing then chopping, it'll have less flavor.

In the pacific islands we use the back of the machete to crack coconuts. There’s 3 holes that sort of look like two eyes and mouth. We crack it on the section where the two eyes are first. Then start hitting around the coconut following the crack till you’ve cracked it all around.

As someone from Louisiana that grew up eating crawfish all the time, this is giving me major anxiety how some of them or trying to get the meat out 😂 it’s okay though. It takes practice. People here have been eating them since like 6 or 7 years old (maybe younger) so it’s like second nature.
