I really USED to love his music, but unfortunately he dropped his rapid raps to switch to more of a country inspired raps, not sure that's very trendy at the moment, and also Very sadly the fact that his originality has gone out the window cuz clearly he is influenced by MGK "here come the haters' but NOWHERE NEAR MGK... The harder he tries the wakier he gets. and just to be clear, I'm not hating I'm just damn sad. .

Sean Mcdonald well yeah, I know he's not trying to be trendy, that's one of the reasons why I love his music, and the reason that he doesn't try to fit in with the contemporary "rapper style". And I respect hin for that. But if you analyze the fact that trunk music had way more hits then Love story, and looking at his interviews before the album and after, you might just notice what Im saying. And you just cant discredit MGK for his music cuz his last album General Admission, hit the #1 album on billboards, and in my opinion, I LOVE if.. but don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on Yelawolf cuz he is my second favorite artist at the moment, and really hope he gets the respect that he deserves.

+Emmanuel Perez What? Listen to the old Yelawolf albums and you will understand that this is all some kind of masterplan. With the country rap Yelawolf reached his long time goal, he's there now. He created a new reality.
he didn't switch to this style he went back to it look at his early stuff and just about every album has a style change and thats what makes him authentic and original. and as far as whats trendy in hip hop right now it won't be trendy in 2016 but Love Story will stand tall for long to come.
