If you pay for carrier bags you're less likely to throw them in the bin. That's the point.

Most people used to use them as bin bags so now you have to pay and reuse them more plastic black bin bags are being sold instead

@@somethingfromnothing8428 I prefer that to the carrier bags though because most of them are biodegradable. Most places don't sell the old bags now, but those bags for life instead.
