If you are aware of Formula 4, you will know of a 15-year-old Italian kid called Andrea Kimi Antonelli. The Italian has been demolishing his competition throughout his time in the series, and as a part of the Mercedes Academy he has a path set out to reach Formula One. The question is: is he really this generational talent that people think he is?

I've been following him for some time now and he is absolutely brilliant. And I am glad that he is not part of the Ferrari Academy (I say it as a fan of Charles Leclerc). Oh and good job with the video as well👍
I think that had he been at Ferrari as *the* Italian talent he could’ve been affected by the huge amount of pressure. It’s something we rarely think about but from that perspective I’m glad Mercedes jumped in

I'm passionate about youth competitions. And this guy peaks my interest. First, he's names Kimi, like my alltime favourite driver, which is a plus for me. Then, he's italian, and we haven't had a great italian driver for a long time now. And his results this year are outstanding.
At this rate, he'll be on FIA F3 next year, or at worst in F3 Regional Europe. I'm looking forward to see him. I already want to support him. Too bad Ferrari couldn't sign him. I'm surprised he signed for Mercedes if he knew that Ferrari wanted to sign him though.
Btw, does someone know where to watch Italian, German or others F4 races?? (And F3 REgional aswell) I want to watch it so bad but I don't know if there is some broadcasting of it

Rafa can't even catch him in terms of race pace and in qualifying. He's the quickest in F4. Bearman is also extremely quick too. The dude might be the quickest in F3 right now. I just hope he doesn't get the Robert Shwartzman treatment from Ferrari.
The thing with Rafa and Kimi is: they are both rookies but the only rookie with no single seater experience is Rafa, he only drove single seater when he did the FDA test last year, while Kimi has been testing in F4 cars since forever, so even though both are rookies, there is a difference in single seater experience. Their careers in karting are similar. Kimi seems to be a more aggressive driver with higher raw speed while Rafa seems to be a more strategic driver.
Nikola Tsolov the current leader of the F4 Spanish is also a very good young driver.
He's in f4. Plenty of things can go wrong before he will get into formula 1 or even formula 2. Don't put extra pressure on him

I still think that Vesti could get to F1, his season started out poorly but he’s now fighting with his teammate Pourchaire on a regular basis, although Kimi is obviously the long-term plan for Merc

He's going to take over the Mercedes mantle from Lewis around 2027, and from there the possibilities are endless. I honestly see him winning many many world titles if everything goes according to plan
