What you have is hard to describe. Rare. Worth bottling. Your enthusiasm is palpable and contagious. This is likely to be a long project. When I plan a long anything, I plan in taking breaks. Free time. The ability to go off script. To explore. Man, I'm full of go-juice now. Thanks.
Also, gaining inspiration is cool. Get it where ever you can. I have been a DM for a while. I once made a campaign based entirely on the Tool album - Lateralus.

Those images definitely set the mood that's for sure. My first thoughts on seeing them was of those special forces guys popping up out of the water all stealthy like - obviously our ranger isn't going to pop out of the water (unless he is a certain ranger called Dunnighan who couldn't get out of a hole in the swamp scenario!) - but you could imagine a cloaked silhouette slowly materializing out of a mist as it moves through the swamp! Very inspiring!
Exactly!! Man it would suck to walk thru a swamp half submerged with a cloak on … but it sure would look cool lol!
Rock on brother! Take a week off, you've earned it. Gotta say I really appreciate the informal and informative videos you've been producing, I know what it takes having done a bunch of my own. Looking forward to more updates on the movie!

I've spent the week procrastinating and it's saved me a lot of money, Neon Skies Kickstarter - maybe tomorrow, Degenesis skirmish Kickstarter -same, Next Kill Team Box - same (although as that only goes on pre-order tomorrow I may have to procrastinate some more. I did actually do something though, painted up my Tron adjacent vehicles from Crooked Dice, including black light reactive fluorescents and bought the VIP tickets for New Order's Manchester all day gig - support from Johnny Marr (and others) - Yay, I love the 80's.
On a more serious note, I'm loving taking this journey with you (I may even have to buy a copy of Ranger's of Shadow Deep, but I need more shelves first), not only is it brave of you to take the leap it is braver that you are sharing the process from the start - sort of like a Ranger setting off on an scouting mission into the unknown but with the whole Kingdom following his progress and hoping he doesn't get eaten by some massive monster (Netflix!). Keep it up and remember, keep smiling!
Whoa I am now thinking of myself as a Ranger and I dig it lol! Yes, nothing better than facing certain doom to build character (or, you know, harvest clicks 😂). But tbh there’s no way to overstate the support and interest of folks outside one’s self, and from one highly skilled procrastinator to another, it’s one of the best motivators (not only because it comes with its own sense of responsibility, in other words …fear 🤣). 🤙🏴☠️🍻
I think this procrastination thingy you keep talking about is contagious. You started talking about generating images, I started playing around with Bing Image AI, and oh boy it's almost 1AM here and that other thingy I got to do for work is still sitting here looking at me with judgement in it;s eyes...

Make the beginning of each episode of you slaying a creature of some sort as you roll the dice to determine how this episode is going to go. I found out if you procrastinate too long the laws of physics kick in and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

Procrastination? I don't even have to worry about that. My audio mixer went to hell and my computers sound card fried and took a few other things with it. Now I have to take time off and put what I wanted to do over the summer. I guess I can work on some models or fix some home projects until my stuff gets fixed. Oh well. life goes on. Dude!! You Freaken Rock. I love your ideas for the movie and the pics of the Ranger taking on that spider is just too damn cool. It's a good thing I don't have arachnophobia. Those ideas are just too damn cool. I do hope this works out for you and your crew. Even something small can turn out big. The last time I tried to wish you and your friends luck on your project.
