i tried touch screen and HATED it, sweat filled fingers and it not working.... plus being in Wisconsin cold and touchscreen suck together. love my fenix 6s sapphire
question, you said its 2021 and you miss a touchscreen sooo much. did you ever try to use a touchscreen while doing outdoor activities, maybe with gloves, or while having wet fingers?
OK, good to know. Because most videos you can see here, where those hardcore sportsman review the watch prefer no Touchscreen. I'm not one of those but I understand the reason behind and as you said garmin does make touchscreens but obviously prefer not to for the fenix series. So people have a choice even with garmin products. Samsung, apple and so on doesn't give the choice to the customers....
I use my Vivosmart 4 for daily use and when i'm sleeping, my Fenix 5 Plus is used for my workouts and activites with a HRM-cheststrap. There is no better combo then the Vivosmart 4 and a Garmin Fenix, it's great to be able to sync both devices to one app.
So I'm between this watch and a Galaxy Watch 4 and no, i don't want to wait for the Fenix 7. Yes, I know they are different watches, aimed to different people. I used to have the Fenix 6 and I sold it because i didn't run as often as I could before. Now, I am again wanting to run and im between these Two devices. What do you think? I like the Fenix 6 but there are so many things that can be improved, such as a touch screen, that you can answer or make calls, they need to improve notifications a little more, a better screen, but it has really good battery life. Nice video man!
Did you get the watch in the end. I was the same. I had the f6 then sold it but got it again totally because there is nothing else in the market like gf6. I’m in the apple eco system and tried the Apple Watch and also other fitness watches but there is something about the Garmin that motivates me to just do, to work hard and run harder and train harder. It’s a mid game. I feel like a man wearing the gf6. My view that’s all.
I have this watch. It can many things but one thing it can’t! Gps tracking. So not precise! My old forrunner 305 was spot on but this… so not worth the money they charge us for it
I do 🤣...I want to maintain the integrity of the data as much as possible, and taking it off provides a gap in readings. Others may not care, but some do.
@@HeyCMH it's sad and unfortunate that people tear others down to feel better about themselves. I enjoyed the video. Thanks for taking the time to make it
Did you know Garmin even made smartwatches?

Yes, I do every single day with my Vivosmart 4...which is also a Garmin product.

Interesting insight
Mine works spot on. Could be location or updates.
Lol who you would want to wear the watch in their shower
