This man is direct and "to the point" but i found only effective in short doses. To much of him can only make you think more. Makes one think about awakening..makes one dream about awakening...best thing to do is forget about awakening...be kind in your walk of life...simple and practical. Awakening and all the dreams we have of it are just more head nonsense. After watching several of his videos im realizing i dont really want awakening that bad. I agree with him on that one.
This is what we all need straight talking! Otherwise we will never awaken !( Suffer little children to come unto me sayeth the Lord) we are never really happy because we are the lost sheep and the suffering is meant to awaken us and it will continue through many many lifetimes until we finally find our way home to God, I hope I finally awaken in this lifetime because I don't want to reincarnate again, I want to stay home and I have had a very blessed life not financially but in all ways that truely matter, I wish you all to awaken asap❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It was nice of him to add that the process is long in most cases.. centuries of course is a bit disheartening. I guess It depends entirely on how much you are willing to accept the I and its permanent state of dissatisfaction. In this teaching is the I essentially the ego?
Robert would point out that the fact that you're here watching this video means you've already done centuries of work. In this teaching the "I" is the True Self. The Ego ( or false I) is what veils the True Self. That's what we are urged to see through. It sounds like you're acquainted with Buddhism - the key thing to remember here is that where Buddhist teachings often focus on denying a Self exists (Neti Neti) , Advaita Vedanta teachings frequently say that we are the Self and that the Self is everything (Brahman) ❤️. ( They are pointing to the same thing, but the words can seem to conflict until we see that.
@@soulspiritself Ok I thought the term "I" refers to the false "I".. in other words the "I" that "wakes up with you in the morning", the "I" that we "need to observe". I understood that this "I" refered to the false "I" or the "egoic mind" and that conciousness was the true "Self". But either way, I think language and terminology is responsible for much confusion.
It certainly is! Add to that the very similar-seeming concepts across practices but with completely different core interpretations and it's no wonder we get confused.
@@soulspiritself Thats why before when you said that in Advaita we are the "self" and in Buddhism there is no self I raised an eyebrow. How can that be? Surely this is just a difference in terminology?
This particular point causes so much confusion for people (I am of course speaking from experience on that 😧) . I expect especially online where people come across various teachings that are indiscernible in many areas. After repeatedly hearing 'No Self exists' in Buddhist teachings then hearing 'There is only the Self' in Advaita it's easy to get really thrown. (Thanks! My original reply was more confusing than the confusion I was trying to help with! I edited it a bit, but I should really just be quiet, I could write what I know about Buddhism on the back of a stamp 😁. )❤️
I am just into the talk and already thinking about this at the line "so many want to awaken, but theyb put everything else first." Sam Harris has a great line in a talk about free will, something like, "There are people out there who are absolutely fanatical about rock collecting. Why aren't you one of them? Why not choose to be one right now?" I both want to awaken and don't (as measured by my actions, at least). I think I want to want to. But don't know how to get there. How much is this something that happens to you/emerges from you vs something you choose to do?
Perhaps create a logo for AI reproductions that are either complete new work or giving voice to real words. Two separata logos for those but sinilar. Thank you for this. I save rhis to listen often.
Who, if they won a 60 million dollar lottery, would say "to whom does this come"? 🤣🤣🤣 ...and you'll be on the next plane to Acapulco. 😭 He may not yell like Nisargadatta but he still drops truth bombs that obliterate 🫶🤯🫶

Yes the voice is done with AI. The words are unchanged.🙏🏻
