  • Are you constantly rehearsing past hurts? Have you lost hope because of what someone did to you?
Offense is one of the most deceptive snares Satan uses to get believers out of the will of God. And the scary thing about offense is this: it often flies under the radar. Most Christians don't even know they are offended, and thus, are completely unaware of the havoc it's wreaking in their lives.
So how do you know if you are offended-and more importantly, what does the path to freedom look like? How do you go from being constantly weighed down by offense to traveling light?
Tune in to this week's episode of Conversations with John and Lisa Bevere to discover how you can overcome the deadly trap of offense!

It's real sad, that I see alot of this is going on in churchs too. What the lack of the fear of God will do I guess 🤔

This reminds me of a quote from I don't know who.
    Thoughts turn into words,
    words turn into actions,
    be careful what you think.
This is why the MSM says such harsh things about certain people. They want you to start thinking about it. Bcz regardless of what side you end up on, you'll eventually act out badly & They win. Divide & conquer.

It’s so hard to love the ones who hate you, the natural instinct is to hate back. I’m trying

I agree. I'm experiencing so much hate from others right now. Jesus said love your enemies but it's so hard.

It’s almost been one year- since my husband, grabbed my face, leaned his head back to work up his saliva and then spit in my face. At that time, 23 years married, four daughters. The first thought that crossed my mind was, ‘Ohmygoodness, he had hated me for a very long time.’ He proceeded to throw me across the room twice and two of our daughters saw me mid air. He had never laid hands on me before- but the Lord had been opening my eyes to his deceptions, and I was asking and getting close.
It’s been one hell of a year. But I am grateful, bc I know he would have eventually killed me. He has had NO remorse. He has blamed me. Said I attacked him, lie. And the worst part, God fearing men, haven’t called bs. Just saying. Oh- and I married my father…. My husband went and lied to him and my step mom, and they believe him.
The Lord is removing people, that we’ve been naively loyal to… for our well being and growth.
    I apologize for the book/comment.

I'm sorry you had to endure that abuse especially in front of the children. He didn't value you or his children. I'm glad you took your children & got out. May you be blessed 🙌

I’m sorry you had to endure that, but what you’re describing is a demonic manifestation… He’s severely oppressed and is in need of having those demons cast out of him.. Pray for his repentance and deliverance.. He’s being used by the enemy, which was very effective in destroying your family.. The enemy has no remorse, which is the hardness of heart your husband portrayed.. Jesus came to set the captives free.. Your husband can be free from those demons too.. There is hope.. Jesus is your hope!!

@@ClansmanK Because I believe in Jesus Christ… The enemy of Jesus is the devil and all his minions.. I’ve also dealt with demonic oppression myself and had demons cast out of me.. That’s why.. I know it to be true

When we respond with love ,to those who are hateful, like Jesus did for us
This love is what changes people .
Luke 6:27-28. But to you who are listening I say…. Love your enemies ,do good to those who hate you
Bless those who curse you ,pray for those who mistreat you.
We can only do this with the help of the Holy Spirit 🕊️

You can frame it however you want. You want censorship. You’re incapable of regulating your own emotions so you need someone else to do it for you.
