Life of a Sawyer. Keep up the good work. I hope you're charging enough. 😊 Blades aren't cheap and time is money.

Well, it’s about time. Finally I sayer who can talk to us over the sawmill while he is editing the video There is too many guys trying to talk over the sound of the sawmill and you can’t hear a damn thing they’re saying and we’re interested in what they’re saying And I send a little note to them saying can you get a better microphone they say they’ve got a top-of-the-line microphone. And that’s as far as it goes. Well I listen to you I really appreciate that’s a beautiful log you got on there some fantastic wood you got out of it, I just became your newest subscriber so be safe. God bless and I’ll keep watching. ✌️🇨🇦

I did this last job with a past client, for a couple of grand plus equipment hauling. I spend an extra day. I only do that with good clients. however, I think I'll rethink it and just do by the hour. At 125 per hour, I give them the option to sticker them.

You can cut out a lot of stickers out of those slabs you took off they were quite thick. They were the thickest slabs I have seen on any sawmill. I’m not saying you’re wrong or anything but you have a lot of stickers you can salvage from those slabs.✌️🇨🇦

Just did one of them yesterday, 36" with my 2020. My zirk was missing on my blade roller, and is getting hot, but warranty is getting me one. They only want to give me the bearing shaft without looking at it. I rolled it, and you can hear the bearing, which evidences damage. NO longer stiff to move. I'm wondering it it has seals in the bearing that can blow if you over grease. Also, my belt tensioning bolt was to close to the outside and slipped past the stop frame. I welded a all thread onto the existing all thread, and that solved it, however they sent me a knew assembly, though it is still the same, so it wouldn't have worked.

The guid rollers only take 1/4 pump every 8 hours, iv blown a seal on one cus of over greasing.. The seal went out but the bearings were good so I just kept that one full of grease..

@@normscustomsawingllc Yeah, makes sense. The zirc on the other one was stripped when I went to check the thread size. They are sending me new shafts, and probably a bearing for the bad one. I think I'll buy the other bearing.

@@normscustomsawingllc I watch some of the wood-mizer videos. They seem to be able to manipulate logs way better. Seems their log spike is taller. I'm making some mods for my 2020. I have one for cutting 30' logs that is to cool for comfort! Can't wait to get it done.

the worse part about the nails is i thought it just took the edge off my blades a little but when i went to sharpen them i saw both blades had 4 teeth missing..
