TimberKing 2020 is absolutely the best performing, best value in a full function hydraulic portable mill. Even better, it’s available with Kubota 4 cylinder diesel option without exhaust after treatment system. Old school in line injection pump for years of trouble free operation. Simply the best.
Nice mill, but it's not fast enough for a production operation. Baker and wood-mizer will cut a lot faster. Like to see a video with someone pushing the mill harder.
Thousands of TimberKing owners would beg to disagree! TimberKing sawmills cut fast - but just as important, TK’s solid-welded super-structure and direct-action hydraulics mean our mills have far less down-time than other brands. Not a bad idea for a video, thanks!
Wrong. TK mills model for model cut just as fast as the others, especially vs. WoodMizer with same diameter blade wheels. Some Cooks, with larger blade wheels, can have a cut speed advantage, but fall short in other areas.
@MrMrkody100 Have you ever seen J&S sawmill on UA-cam? They run a Baker, there's no way Timberking cuts that fast. Plus you don't just square a log up and cut it straight down. Especially in hardwood. Baker is heavier build, too. My Baker ways 10,000lbs. Drake's American Dream, he runs a woodmizer. He saws fast. Timberking owners don't seem to push their mills fast enough. With the diesel engines, they should have the power to do so.
