Journey through the cosmos with a reimagined AI generated animated cinematic music video adaptation of Lenny White's classic 1978 Jazz Fusion concept album (and comic story), "The Adventures of Astral Pirates"! This 10-minute animated epic created by Gene Williams (Gwiz) follows Althal and his crew of Space Bandits as they embark on a quest to restore hope to a galaxy teetering on the brink of despair.
1. *Pursuit:* The Astral Pirates acquire the Thalin Matter Converter (TMC), a device holding the key to hope, setting off a thrilling chase across the stars.
2. *Vortaxian Encounter:* Forced onto an uncharted asteroid, the Pirates form an uneasy alliance with the powerful and enigmatic Vortaxians.
3. *The Great Pyramid:* Mysteries and revelations await within a colossal pyramid, altering the course of the Pirates' and Vortaxians' destinies.
4. *Universal Hope:* A vision of Fornax, a mad scientist threatening to extinguish all hope, reveals the true stakes of the Pirates' mission.
5. *Remembering:* The Pirates uncover their forgotten history, reconnecting with their ancestral past and finding renewed purpose in their quest.
6. *Revelation (Astral Pirates):* The Great Pyramid reveals the path to defeating Fornax: embracing universal hope and connection.
7. *Heavy Metal Monster:* Fornax unleashes his terrifying creation, the Heavy Metal Monster Machine, threatening to plunge the galaxy into eternal despair.
8. *Assault:* The allied forces launch a desperate assault on Fornax's fortress, facing cosmic horrors and the might of the Heavy Metal Monster Machine.
9. *Climax:* In a final confrontation, Althal uses the TMC to overcome the Monster Machine and reignite hope across the cosmos. Witness the epic struggle for the galaxy's future!

Using Udio to put together a movie style film score, I was inspired to create some visuals for it and came up with ‘The GeneVerse’. Original old school style concepts for TV shows and Movies that I would enjoy. No convoluted complicated multiverses, just old school street level bad guy/good guy cops n’ robbers shooting and blowin’ stuff up. 🤭 A fun exercise for me to do some visual storytelling without a script off the top of my head just like I did in the old days, and to showcase how I 'see' sound.
