Kathleen thank you so much for these tutorials. They are so beautiful. Your teaching is great. I really want to do these when I get finished my Christmas bulbs! 🌟🌟🌟❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much for this additional explanation, it was so thoughtlful of you! I also found that hearing your voice with the video was so much better for me as the floating words were interferring with my concentration. Nevertheless thank you for sharing and providing a beautiful tutorial!
I thank you so much for the kind words of encouragement! It so hard to know exactly how to make great videos, but I take all of the comments to heart. I'm so glad that you enjoyed this one! 🥰
Oh my goodness!! 🥰 thank you so much! I'm not a genius though, I just got lucky and stumbled onto this gorgeous result and needed to share it with my fellow tie dye lovers! Enjoy!! 💗
I know exactly how you feel! I tried and tried again, with slightly satisfactory results, but just not quite right! I am pretty pleased with the way these turn out! I'm so happy to be able to help! Enjoy!! 😁
The one compressed on the horizontal looks like what happens when you tie dye with one set of colors on one side and use a a second set of colors on the back side. Both are beautiful and you managed to capture both aspects of tie dye with 1 starting cane. Very cool.
That's a great point! I was noticing that while I watched it back with my mom, and listening to myself say that it didn't look as much like tie dye.. I thought, well yeah, it kinda does! Just a different way! 🤣 thank you so much!!
Thank you so much!! Sadly my overhead light blew shortly after I made this video and I can't believe how dark it is in the craft room without it! 😂 now I have to wait for the husband to hang me a new one, after that I will do my best to get another tutorial or two out! 💗 thank you again!!
Hi Kathleen, I'm a new subscriber and I really love your cane, it is so beautiful. I'm going to try making it as soon as I can. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Update! I managed to get a few of the Skinner blends done. I tried to find the first video you referred to but I couldn't find it. Or maybe I misunderstood what was said. Thanks again for sharing your experience with everyone.
Oh I'm so sorry! I forgot that I removed that video. I hadn't done any voice over for that one, but I had used a lot of font animations that really bothered a lot of people. I meant to make a new video for it, without the animations and do more voice instructions instead, but before I got a chance to do that I started a major overhaul on my craft room. I guess I should go on and make that video public again until I CAN make a new one. 💗
@@CraftyKatsCorner Oh wow, that's what I've been doing too. I'm really trying to get everything organized, which has been a job. I have way to much junk. I feel like I'm just moving things around and from one room to another. That's why I haven't had much time to work with my clay. I bought a used mobile home about 3 years ago and I've been having to do some major repairs on it also. I'm having to learn as I go. Hopefully one day I'll get it all done and then I can spend a lot more time with my crafts. I got all my skinner blends done finally. Good luck on your remodel.
@@cathymassingill1161 right! It's definitely an ongoing trial of moving things from this room to that room and back! 🤣 hopefully soon we both can get settled and back into the clay! I just made myself let go of a whole bunch of things I bought with the best intentions but knew, after all, that I was never actually going to use any of those things! Best of luck to you! I do hope you are able to get all the home repairs worked out soon too! That can be a trial in itself! 💗
Well done. This was really an awesome cane tutorial. The “Hippie’s Fingerprint” was a great description. Thanks! ✌🏻🤍🤞🏽
@@ViKee010 😅 thank you so much!! I'll have to go back and watch my cringy self again! I had forgotten about even saying that. 💗
Just tried this out. Turned out awesome. Alot of work but worth it in the end. Gonna be some bead making in the morning. Thank you for teaching
