YEP! Everytime I hear Chadwicks name ... sadness kicks in. I never knew anything about him until his passing...which is when I read up on him! Very very sad! I saw the END PIECE of his acting on... 42/Jackie Robinson...where he was face down on the ground...with his last groaning/voice moment...KILLED ME!!!
Same for Naya...never know of her until her death. Not updated with pop culture movies music etc.as an older person...

One of the saddest parts of this is her son probably will have no memories of her. Brazilian singer Maria Rita also lost her mom, singer Elis Regina, at the age of four and she told in an interview she has no memories of her mom. She only knows her by things people say about her in the family and in the press, and through her work.

I have a handful of memories from when I was four, I can only hope her son will too. Patton Oswalt, who lost his first wife, talks with his daughter everyday about her mother and asks her to think of a few memories of her. That sounds like a great way to help keep those memories alive.

Yes I know many of us were delusional and hoped she'd be found alive but I think we were all just hoping against hope. Looking back, it was quite silly, but no one wanted to believe she was dead. They waited to release the bit about Josey saying he saw her drown until the day they found her so we were all just thinking well maybe not 🤷‍♀️💔 I think if they'd said that part, they would have saved a lot of people a lot of heartache. They knew she was dead and the rest of us kept hoping without all the facts. Of course, she was on the middle of a lake and it would have been a miracle, but so many of us kept vigil for 5 days and I think that caused a lot of unnecessary trauma for many people. So many fans were begging to check the cabins by the lake and all - if they'd been forthcoming, so many people would have not had such a mindf*** when they finally said no, we found her, and Josey saw the whole thing. I did not see the body bag though and I am glad of it!

Deaths aren't gotten over because a person you love is still gone and nothing simply erases that pain... you just learn how to live with it daily and fight to continue on. Their point that it's probably even harder to do life while raising their young child without her, I can understand that but thankfully the stages of grief also allow that the same way he'd feel pain when seeing her resemblance in the son's face is the same way that the resemblance will bring joy on other days when having happy memories. Idk how much of death Josie understands at this age but I'm sure he misses her and has a lot of thoughts of his own especially since he was the last one to see her and was questioned about it...I'd think helping a child grieve while you're also grieving is actually the hardest part, after watching my mother do it. it's been 3 years and I'm still grieving. Santana/Naya was my comfort zone, my happiness & my calm place during the time i was so confused with everything about myself. she literally made me realized it's not wrong to be who i am. until now i listen to her songs on Glee and rewatch all her appearances on Glee. it made me smile & sad at the same time. You continue on touching people's lives even tho you are already in heaven. I hope you are singing and dancing again in heaven. I miss you so much & will forever remember and love you. RIP my precious angel. ❤

I know exactly as many of you that Naya believes that God has a plan for her, so i was little bit worried about Yolanda. I know that she believes in God, so it was even more related to the situation. It’s seriously the best answer. I didn’t expect reaction like this. She is so smart, strong and inspirative woman. I knows that Naya loves her so much. This interview is proof of that.

To Yolanda and the rest of Naya's family. This past year has been heartbreaking, challenging, eye-opening and encouraging. I experienced grief in a new level when Naya passed, and then again some months later because I had been diagnosed with stage 2 cancer. I'm doing okay for now, but my mind is never far from knowing how short life can be. Naya has taught me that a short life can hold so much meaning and can be of service to others if I just love and care about the people around me. I started working with a local charity 5 months ago, making sandwiches for school children who don't have a stable food situation at home. I was inspired by Naya's work with Alexandria house. Today I dropped off 3 bags of sandwiches in Naya's honor and prayed for her and her family. I believe Naya's legacy will always live on.

It seems illogical for Naya to drown but not the child. This is either a miracle from God (that the boy is still alive) or another murder. Kobe’s death is eerie too, a plane crash is very uncommon. I don’t want to believe conspiracy theories but it’s just too weird for so many celebrities to die in freak accidents. Not to mention, SOPHIE the singer died falling from a mountain alone at night? Like, what is this? Along with constantly hearing about various overdoses. Cory Monteith and Mark Salling have also died so young too, and it’s really weird to now have THREE Glee stars dead so young.

Surely Naya has called her mom from other random places before. The fact that Naya’s mother felt compelled to take screenshots during their FaceTime at that particular moment, had to be divinely guided. It’s as if the mother’s higher-self knew there would be a dire need for it to later be a viable component.🕊
