I'm so happy to come around a fellow Kenyan.🤗🤗 I've been researching about locks for a while now,i went to the salon/loctician and asked if they can start my locks with 2 strand twists,Most local salons/locticians are only familiar with coils, interlocking. I ended up getting lock extensions because i was just so tired of searching for locticians who would advise on hair density, lock size for my type of hair and who could start with 2 strand twists. I kept showing them all these youtube videos of people starting with 2 strand twists and all the ones i met werent familiar with that technique. I've come to learn my hair is low density ,i've noticed i always liked locks which were around 110-150 . I think i was misled into getting loc extensions and i'm looking to undo them this month and go have someone put 2 strand twists on my hair,i guess i'll figure out the retwisting part once i get to that bridge. Excited to start this journey

Hey love, I familiarize with your journey quite abit, my first time doing my Loc’s they put so much beeswas I scared for so long and decided to just wash them out! I started my own two strand twist! Sometimes I wish I had a professional to get my patterns perfect but I’ve come to learn that this loc journey isn’t a easy one!
You will always find things not to like about your dreads! And things to love about them!
I think if u wanna start again go for it! I hope my video helped and can help u better on choosing how many dreads you would like!
Remember everyone’s journey is different! Your Loc’s will be unique, and can never really look exactly like someone else’s!
I had extensions ones, I share it in one of my videos! And I didn’t like the look! They just weren’t mine! But do what works for u! Sometimes doing extensions and waiting till your Loc’s grow can help make the journey easier for u!
In all I’m so happy to have met a Kenyan too! This makes me very happy!
Feel free to share with me your journey! I’m here for any questions u might have!
