honestly, the fact that Nick has added the extra cam, makes it so much better, but also gives an extra oomph that accentuates his arrogant persona
Also exudes his giga jacked physique
Lucario's D-Air not being a spike in vanilla Smash Bros feels like a crime because it has to be one of the most naturally animated "kicking someone downwards" attacks in the entire game.

I think the logic is like the aura part is like an explosion, and no explosion spikes (besides Ivy dair I think) in this game for some reason

I think it’s just because it would be so busted. A stalling, multihit spike that would kill super early with aura? nah miss me with that i’m good
I feel like if they made a big sour spot and the sweet spot harder to hit it could actually be balanced. And me personally, if they were willing to give Hero a spike, despite him having a move that can hit literally the entire stage, OHKO rng moves, crit rng smash attacks (which can also be buffed with his spell list), I think they could give Lucario a reasonable spike. If not his down air, then do something like project m or HDR where you will spike them if you grab them midair with his side b.

Possible new mod idea: EVERYONE gets a taunt that can attack!
Example 1: Mewtwo’s up taunt (the one where he spins around) now has a hitbox around his tail.
Example 2: Sonic’s down taunt (him doing the windmill) can now damage the opponent.
Upon many other examples.
I need this because turning Zelda's wave taunt into a funni juggling move would be the most toxic thing in the entire game.

Crazy timing for this upload, I’ve been grinding out the all spikes challenge Nick did a while back (getting EVERY spike in the game), and I’m just about at the homestretch starting the DLC characters. Honestly, spikes have becoming an integral part of my being over this last week that sometimes I debate whether or not I’M a spike 🙂

I remember a time when I learned about Ike’s up-b spike. I was playing with a friend in a tourney, and we were in the last match. It was a ffa 4 player match, with me, my friend, and two CPUs. I was playing as Kirby and he was playing as Ike. I, as Kirby, Inhaled my friend’s character, and spat the Ike at the CPUs. My friend used up-b, and knocked himself out, taking the two CPUs with him. That was sick as heck.

I have entered a love-hate relationship with nick’s increased usage of “cooking”
EASILY my favorite video in a while. You and poppt are just nuts together, especially with stakes like the smash master title,,, i miss the “every spike in the game” series that shit was Hype.
Long comment, but I have a controller recommendation for you. For my birthday, I got the HORI Split-Pad Compact. I've used them ever since, they are really good. They are wider than normal JoyCons, have back buttons on the handles, and two unique buttons. In the bottom left and right corners of each controller, there are two buttons labeled assign, and turbo. The assign button assigns a control to the back buttons. To assign a control, press the assign button and the button you want to assign for the back at the same time. Note: You can only assign buttons that are on the same controller. The turbo button auto-presses the control for you. There are two modes for turbo, hold, and auto. Hold mode makes it where you can just hold the button and it will rapid fire. Auto mode makes it where you don't have to do anything, rapidly presses the button for you. Though it sounds good, I would not recommend using auto close to the edge of the stage, because if you get knocked off, you will most likely die. As a bonus, all of the HORI Split-Pad Compacts have cool designs. I highly recommend trying them. Maybe you could use them in a future video? Thanks for reading. (P.S. You will need a HORI Split-Pad Compact connector/attachment to use it while the Switch not in handheld. [Which somehow costs more than the actual controllers])

Then mod them to reflect that.
Strength effects damage and knockback of normals.
Skill controls the effectiveness of specials.
Speed effects movement and possibly frame data.
I think that would be a cool video.

Nick actually makes a fantastic point about Puff, because that’s literally Kirby. Imagine if that down air had REAL spike power.
Don't need to imagine; that's 64 Kirby. Besides, Kirby can repeatedly use dair to gimp or kill, so it doesn't really need high power.

@@t-greenrock404 64 Dair was frame 4, 10 hits, and EVERY hit was a strong spike. That's not the slow, weak dair of Ultimate Kirby lol. Ultimate Kirby's dair just needs more speed, not power. 64 drill had speed AND power.
