Absolute mad lad! That’s awesome bro, thanks for making this video. At first i was just going to substitute my warped rotor for the same one, but now you’ve giving me confidence to upgrade my rotors to bigger ones. Maybe even change my brakes too! Thanks for the tip brother!
Magura claims most braking is on front and not the back. That is why they sell sets with larger front rotors and even go as far as to have 2 piston on back and 4 piston on front. Im now confused lol.
I had same issue with my S1 - Both rotors had a couple bolts that wouldnt move and I could feel It was going to strip - I just a heat gun at about medium heat for a min and it help me remove the bolts.... Great video as always man
Always ALWAYS sharp tap with a medium hammer on head of these brake rotor bolts before attempting to remove. Makes your life easier, breaks the metal meld
Could you use the same floating rotor on the front as you did on the back? Wondering because the front rotor you used is out of stock. Thanks for the video!
I’m having an issue putting the dropout plates back on… lol I’ve never had such a hard time. Did you have an issue w/ aligning the rotor side dropout plate? I only took that side off. Thanks!
yeah, they can be tricky. Something you can try is loosening the main nuts and allowing the dropout plates to have some play. Then once it's in place, tighten everything back down.
Thanks for sharing! Been watching your content since before I even got my bike. I was wondering how the pads are setting in since the change. Even wearing?
I'd love to, but I think my front suspension is shot. Get a shock pump or go a bike store and have them set the PSI for you. Mine is around 120, I believe.
@Loren Majors sounds interesting. There are a few Super73 pages on FB that you could post it on. If you want to email some pics of it, I wouldn’t mind taking a look. contactsessions73@gmail.com
Loosen the bolts on your caliper so it’s wiggly. Then squeeze the lever to that caliper and hold it. While you do, tighten the bolts tight. This should center your brakes.

I made all the mistakes so you don't have to! Thanks for watching, man.

Hey, thanks! You have a great first name too. I’ve probably already said that if you’ve commented before. Forgive me

bro thank you for telling us the size of the rotor bolts 5X10 mm
No problem!
I might attempt this in the future. I need to change my brake pads soon
The brake pads are quick and easy. Definitely start there.
Love all ur videos 😊😊😊
Thanks, Daryl.
A good torx head bit is made by gearwrench at tractor supply.
Good to know! Taking note.

Just checked them yesterday. They look great! Even wear.
Great content, been subscribed for almost a year....could you please do a video on setting up your front suspension on your S2.

thanks for the tips.
You're welcome!

Will this work on the s1
Sure, you can upgrade rotors on any bike as long as you have the right spacers. I'd recommend a bike shop if you're not comfortable doing it yourself.
@@SESSIONS73What kind of washers are those in the video, stainless steel or something else?
next time heat up your bolts with propane or butane torch before forcing them
Hi I also have that same brake rubbing you had at the end but how do I fix this?

This should be titled how not to replace your rotors
Ok
