I’m just binge watching this series and love how much these two lovely gentle people care about their animals and people in general. Empathic and practical. On the other hand I have been shocked at how long people will wait before calling on the vet. Whole sheep herds going blind, unable to find their food, big infected tumours, bites that have become necrotic and badly infected, bulging eyeballs ‘ this might explode’ 😮 cows labouring for days…. On one pet farm, a sheep had a horrible eye and when asked how long it had been like that the girl said ‘ a few WEEKS’!!! The vets never say anything, they just get on and do the best they can without judgement ( in the presence of the owner anyway)
