    If any of you wanna learn ballet in Georgia all you gotta do is type in north Georgia academy of dance in the gps and sign up it’s not that expensive and you don’t have to learn anything when you haven’t started ballet but if you do that’s still great and I am a 12 year old student there so hopefully I’ll see you 🥰

    Would what she did at then end there technically be considered a pique soutenu en tournant? Or just a soutenu? Thank you for this explanation, my past teachers just always called the turn a soutenu and it got confusing when I started studying the vocabulary.

    So are you basically just spinning 360 in 5th position?

    • @RPMDance
      @RPMDance  Рік тому

      Actually you are passing through first to fifth first to fifth !! Try It!! Hope this helps !!

    Hi! I don’t know if you still reply here, but I’m looking for some help: I have a solo piece, where at the end (And it’s a *fast* but short piece so the stamina is a bit drained) I do three pique turns and then go back up into a soutenu, not a turn but just up, but what happens is that I go up and I just…keep turning. How can I go up and stay still? Thank you!

      Hi Dee !!,
      This is Cheryl Ale so glad you asked this question. I think the best ending to slow down after 3 pique turns and yes 2 consecutive soutenu turns hold the second in fifth arms in Fifth En Haut en face accentuate the pause with an extra breath up so audience knows you are exiting the stage !!
