Question. Do you ever mix your kick and bass within the key of the song? Since every pitch corresponds to a frequency, does it help to mix at what key or scale you are in??
@@bacadubsI meant to mention that as a bonus tip about tuning your kick to the key during the production phase but forgot lol. I think that could work but I always found it real difficult to know what key the kick is in cause it generally atonal. When it comes to boosting certain frequencies that are within the scale, maybe there’s some benefit to that for cohesion but I can’t say I’ve ever really mixed like that or heard much of a difference from videos I’ve watched on it. Always something to give a try and see if it works for you though!
