Dude, lasts night and EVERY year for the last 8-10 years in Milliken, it is like a war zone. People are NOT using legal fireworks. These things are HUGE. 8 out of every 10 backyards are just death and brown....tender for fire. Last year, just in my yard, I filled 2 grocery sacks with things that fell from the sky. Who pays for the damage if your home burns? They are so loud, they rattle the windows and it usually lasts for a week..
People new to this state don't care if it's dry, if it's illegal.... what about other people! What about pets????
So in other words the fireworks that are legal suck.
Move to WY.

Milliken has been a disaster for years. Every year, there are things exploding as big as the professional displays from back yards, people blocking off streets. Drinking while shooting this stuff, small children running around where they light it off.
I have had paint on my hood burned, small black spots in my yard from smoldering hot debris in my yard. The entire neighborhood has to clean their yards. Nowadays, there are many backyards full of dead grass and landscaping because of water prices.
I Love this country and have always enjoyed watching controlled displays and small stuff with kids...... but when homes catch on fire, fields burn from careless kids, and it lasts for an entire week until 11 or later.... come on.
People used to respect other people. Dogs panic, imagine having war related PTSD. There is no longer respect for other people or their property, let alone the law in this state anymore!!!!
