Wait so like, once you defeat chronos, you can then choose to go to the surface to seek mount Olympus? Supergiant is really exploring with what they can do in hades 2
If Mel can get to the surface, I'm hyping for when the family is free and Mel later visits her mother's garden and probably have a girl's talk moment between her, Persephone, and Demeter.
You actually can do it before defeating Cronos (you can't go all the way to the Olympus because the game is in early access but eventually you will be able to ascend before defeating him)
They hint at what to do next after you kill chronos a second time because that unlocks a new recipe in the cauldron where you use an, as of now, unkown amount of the drop you get from chronos and some kind of pink paper which you most likely will get from chaos i think.
So its not the "true ending" because game isnt finished yet, obviously, but you unlock a recipe to use in the cauldron to craft some sort of way to stop Chronos from regenerating all the time, using his own sand and a pink/purple parchement, which i assume we will get from the fates themselves when we will be able to find them. In Hades 1 we didnt need to go and meet Persephone anymore after like 10 successful run, which i assume will more or less be the same amount of sand needed to make the craft possible. The fates are probably at the surface that you will be able to explore after 2 craft, which is also story blocked after the second boss fight, like after the Chronos fight.
The latest update introduced a special spell that can bypass Chronos's time magic so he can be killed for good. One of the ingredients is the sands you collect from defeating him and the other is "entropy", which so far can't be found anywhere. Even the quantity necessary for both ingredients is still a mystery but my guess is that it comes from beating Olympus or rescuing the Fates.
You know melinoe should have brought something to steal up Chronos rather than leaving the remains of time Blbut then again the Fates Might want them to fight for all eternity up until the games fully released
I believe they’re working on getting something to do something like that. They just need to get whatever it is in Zag’s room that Melinoe was looking for.

SuperGiant Games promise to deliver as much content on the early access as in Hades 1 game lives up to the claim! Can't wait to get my fair share of killing Time :)
i just hope they listened to the feedback from the first game & improve the ending to Hades 2. Hades is one of my favorite games, but my biggest complaint was how underwhelming the true ending was, given the amount of time & effort it took to achieve
On one hand, it is a bummer to know things come to an end after this (for now), but at the same time, early access is still early access. Either way, it will be fun to see what will be used to explain why the player will go on multiple runs this time around. Last time it was to see Zag’s mother to try and find out what happened and to convince her to come back, so what will be in the prince’s chambers? Have to admit it will be hard to wait for the full game and not just jump in to play it right now.
@@xxivkraegen2124 the olympians themselves would all be gone too, best shot they would have is to return to just before chronos invaded the inderworld and stop him there.
in the myths yes, but in the game that was stated to be a joke from Dionysus and Zagreus and a prank they pulled on Orpheus. Though now that we know the family of Hades confronted Chronos, I wouldn't put it past them to do that. Not permanently kill Zagreus, but he's enough of a stubborn butt to try to fight Chronos and get shredded many MANY times. And he can't leave the Underworld, so we'll probably see him around on our journey somewhere along the way.
@@kaylenvee8150I like to theorize zagreus getting eaten by Chronos to gain the "rebirth" ability (as Chronos said they cannot be stopped/deathless). Also another point of joke goes to far it become reality shsh
Wait what Chronos isn’t defeated. Damn that just made the first game so much more sad as you decorated the house of hades, makes friends with the residences, and play relationship counselling just to know that everyone gets captured and the house of hades will never be the same again. That is just sad. I mean yeah I get that she never met her family but the player had a whole game getting to know them. That is sad. I guess the game is not finished yet so they may be hope for a happier ending but I guess we’ll wait and see.

Grandpa has destroyed the way of life the underworld and imprisoned a bunch of cthonic gods. I don't think anyone in the right mind would want to try to bond with that.

I bet Typhon will be the final boss on the surface
Huh. So this is the new stop point? Well, looks like we’ll have to wait before we learn what’s next in the stop Chronos plan.

Ngl Hades is a pleasant walk in the park compared to Chronos as a boss fight. I know he is overtuned on purpose during early access but still.
Zeus be like: OH FUCK WE ARE NOT DOING THIS AGAIN!
Why are there so many videos claining to be "True Ending", when the True Ending isn't even in the game yet?

If they cant stop time maybe they can turn back time somehow when chronos isnt born yet to stop his birth so he cant control time in the future
