HI Becky,Love this recipe..so easy.I have a Tip for ya'll: To keep the plastic wrap roll from coming out of the box---look at the ends of the box and you should notice little half-circles. Just poke them into the box. They will hold the roll in but still allow it to turn. I went for years without knowing this fact...felt dumb when I did learn about it. This also applies to rolls of wax paper, aluminum foil, etc. NOTE: some of the cheaper brands don't have these half-circles but most do.Happy "unrolling". ; -)
FIRST time a success. I used the insert to my crock pot becauseI do not have a dutch oven. My lid had plastic handle so I used aluminum foil. Thanks Becky
Actually, if anyone is interested, the cheapest way to purchase yeast is Sam's club (or possibly a restaurant supply store). They have a two pack, containing a pound each, which lasts me a full year, for only about $4.00. those envelopes are about $1.00-1.50, and only have a tablespoon per pack (so about 3 tablespoons for $1.00) The opened packs of the bulk keep well in a closed container in the fridge, which is convenient if you bake bread or pizza regularly. Thanks for the show! Love it!
It's been a God send to me, Becky. I'm allergic to corn and nuts (acquired after exposure to a chemical) and it's getting harder and harder to find commercial bread I can eat. Love this bread! Thank you💕
I just did this came out great my dutch oven was big so i just put the whole recipe in dutch oven cooked it about 10 min longer. Like 40 45 min than took lid off let it bake 15 min longer came out great cut cooking time in half.
Becky, I tried sourdough with starter. I baked several times and was not successful. It seemed like I was forever up to my neck in dough, kneading, waiting etc. The starter was a chore...however, I am saving it and using it for your recipe. I'll post again and let you know how it turns out. I love the idea of the cast-iron dutch oven and have a bigger one that I am using. Thanks a lot! Talk later. Sally
Cheapest way to get yeast is to buy the one pound bags on Amazon. I got 2 one pound bags for less than $8.00. Keep it in the freezer and it lasts a long time & works great.
somebody pls get this woman some measuring cups I work at a bakery and seeing her measure flour with a liquid measuring cup made me cringe.... but I love the vids lol
my grandma had a measuring cup for liquid and dry ingredients. maybe she has the same. milk on one side, flour on the other. ;) not that granny ever used such 'fancy' things for measuring anything, she did it by the eye or handful or spoonful and never failed.
Fresh, newly baked bread still steaming hot looks just like that no matter what recipe you use. If you let the bread cool, the cells in the bread are set, and the bread does not look so doughy.
Becky, your channel is awesome! I love it! I also try to live like you are. Soap, homemade bread, canning, animals. Thanks for sharing so much. Im getting that horsejack stand so that I can work the hooves more easily. Also, I ordered a hoof knife and nippers too. You do inspire confinence....
Artisanbreadwithsteve here on UA-cam has LOTS of no knead breads you need to check out. Am so glad you made your bread, because it is simple and great for beginners and anyone who wants an easy bread to make.
Hi Becky, your Ciabatta Bread looks delicious. I would like to make this bread, I have heard of this for quite some time now., but so glad that you made a video of doing it. Thank you so much!!!!
So Becky. Do you have two dutch ovens ? Or do you leave the other half of the dough in the bowl until the first one is cooked ? Thanks. Looking forward to trying this.
I made the bread and love it. One thing that happened is I put the bread in a zip lock bag and now the outside is no longer crispy. How should I store it?
hey becky have you herd about home made yeast soooo good and if you have a freind that cant eat flour or yeast it makes it gluten free and it is not crapy like from the store you make it .you just have to whate for 24r
active yeast should be bloomed first. You should have used instant yeast that you put directly into the flour. Check out Leslie Lawson who is right. Also get measuring cups.

where did you find the cast iron douch oven?
I love your videos lol
Going to try this in my air fryer
very helpful with this chip pan, thank you !!!
Yummy.. well explained!!
Can I be you when I grow up? Lol I'm 48 and love your attitude. Your not fake and i love it.
Thanks becky if you dont have a dutch oven what would you recommend instead.love the not kneading and no mess buzz.
can you do this without a doutch oven

this looks amazing.. dont you need to add a little honey or sugar to feed the yeast?
Cool
How do you store the bread? Leave on counter covered, or in the fridge? Or another way? Thanks! Want to try this
Becky, what size dutch oven did you use? It looks like you had fun making the bread😊😀
I may have missed this... But do you turn the oven down once you put the bread into the oven? Ps. Love your channel!
I want that little dutch oven. It's small n my size that I prefer .
I am single. Making the double or even triple batch never hurts. Like you said, freeze and save for lunches.
Question?
we like our bread softer than crusty sometimes. can we make this a soft bread by leaving the lid on?
WHAT DO U SUGGEST TO USE IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CAST IRON DUTCH.. I HAVE A ALUMINUM ONE...
What brand is the cast iron you use for your bread?
I do not have Dutch oven. What can I use instead of that?
I like it!!!! Looks very tasty :)
Love that you are so REAL...natural and bare feet! Lol You're son does an awesome camera job.
look it up .
ugh you are my idol
Thanks. All I wanted to know was the quart size😊
Some breads can be difficult, so when you think its done, tap the bottom instead of the top just to be positive.
💕
Have done this with Organic flour?
Found that you can use Organic and wheat also from another viewer, how long do you need to leave it out of the freezer, from you saved batch?
YOU ARE SO AWESOME. I WISH I LIVED NEAR YOU. WE'D BE FRIENDS. FAN.
Me too!!!!
me too! i love her
Same here, My kind of a Woman that can Build, Bake, & Farm & Love the Natural , Way of Living etc, Thanks for sharing.
Why don't you use sugar in this recipe?
It tasted good but it was little hard for me from Sathya
I'm going to try this resipe out. It seems really easy. Love your videos! Cheka out are channel farmgirls75
That's not really a ciabatta. Just a normal no knead bread...
no
no
somebody pls get this woman some measuring cups I work at a bakery and seeing her measure flour with a liquid measuring cup made me cringe.... but I love the vids lol

Worst looking ciabatta bread ever ... look at other vids from mixer to no knead recipes and the bread doesn't look like that when cut open.
Fresh, newly baked bread still steaming hot looks just like that no matter what recipe you use. If you let the bread cool, the cells in the bread are set, and the bread does not look so doughy.
Linda Barnes - that's not true... a proper ciabatta or a rustic sourdough bread, even right out of the oven, wouldn't look like that.
Becky, you are just delightful. I hope you continue to make more videos.
Love you Becky thank you!

Please make more videos on your chickens and goats like care videos!
A trick to syran wrap, stick part of it to the bowl and when you pull you can get it on tighter and easier. (learned that from working a deli)
Love your videos, and you
Great videos

Is there any other container you can use to bake this... I have a small bean pot.. would that work? It looks yummy!
Hi Becky, your Ciabatta Bread looks delicious. I would like to make this bread, I have heard of this for quite some time now., but so glad that you made a video of doing it. Thank you so much!!!!
Instead of Fleishman yeast I am using some buttermilk and sourdough starter and 1/4
of B. soda. Might be overkill. I'll post later.
Thank you for sharing this! Love your recipe! Been making it since I first found you online a few years ago.
It's delicious!
