How right you are! My man does a fantastic job at home cooking, washing up, laundry etc whilst I go out to yoga, exercise and singing classes etc. - brilliant reminder. Couldn't be so positive without him or your invaluable contributions. Thanks! 🎉
Absolutely!! Love the song choice.... Great reminder to also "help" whenever we can, to alleviate the extra they so humbly take on for us! Thanks brother!
Peace and love from the city of Madrid, Spain! Love watching your videos Jeremy, as a fellow musician, and also I''m very excited to hear about your wife's lizards! I think they shoud feature in one of the videos....
Hey Jeremy. Welp, I'm late again. I don't need a caregiver yet, but obviously adult supervision would not go amiss. Anyway, Help has always been one of my favorites, and when I was a teenager, my air drum skills were on point. Believe me, your album got my full attention right away. So, to Parkinson's. "Parkies." That's what we call ourselves, then? Got it. Ha ha. I don't know what I'm going to do in the future since there is no partner. NGL, that has been on my mind. I have a mortgage on a house that will never sell, and I live in a rural area where there's no public transportation. I have no idea what I'm going to do when I can't drive. At the same time, I feel like I shouldn't complain about anything. I can't forget that, while I'm 65 with a new diagnosis, you and Jennifer and others got the early onset gift that keeps on giving. You guys really got the shaft. So, I don't want to complain too much. Also, please tell your wife if she should ever want to have her own UA-cam channel and she talks about herps, I'll subscribe as fast as I can get to it. I also love that she has an axolotl. It's illegal to keep them in Virginia, so I have to admire them from a distance.
Better late than never, Betty!😂 It’s lucky that I have such a good woman and partner in life. In that way, I am fortunate. And she will be doing a special video with her “babies” very soon!
Agreed! My wife has put up with a lot. One strong woman indeed. Keep rocking it bro! I am planning to deer hunting Sept.30-Oct.3rd. Have not gone in two years. But, since y pd has progressed it will be tough..But...I am going to try..
@@JeremyMcdonald it would be rifle. But.. I canceled yesterday. My off times are really bad. Can't move, can't talk. And the nights are worse. Very disappointed 😔 but I am not giving up and will try to get out by the end of October 31st. The video will show me in my off state in the wilderness
Great video - just wished you would have expanded on more of the bad moods, apathy and what you do to try to avoid that when it comes to your caregiver. Yes, sometimes the caregiver needs some "me time", but more importantly, they need to FEEL like they aren't responsible for the bad moods and apathy that the parkinsons person is giving off!!
@@JeremyMcdonald Thank you for responding!! My husband was diagnosed in March - but has so much pain. He is on carba-dopa 5 times a day plus 2 night time slow release carba-dopa to help him sleep. So far, nothing has helped with pain. He doesn't have any tremors yet.
For our care partner to love us that much is a blessing ❤

Honestly, since I have been on L-dopa I haven’t had much apathy. Plus, my 12 year old son doesn’t allow me to be apathetic. Thx, for watching!
@@JeremyMcdonald Does the L-Dopa help with pain as well?? Or just the symptoms for Parkinsons??
@@SmoknRedd It mainly helps with tremors and stiffness. It also lifts my mood.

Great topic! I love how you guys take care of each other. BTW, what’s in that glass thing behind you?
It’s a plant terrarium. No reptiles in there!😂

hello my good budy
Yes I walk in the morning and then I take my pill and can’t walk
It’s so frustrating! Do you take Sinemet?
