I think the "He can get hurt?" line very much had a double meaning, too. Up until now he's treated their relationship recklessly just like all his others to keep Stolas at arm's length, and I think he's realizing that Stolas is sensitive and his coldness can indeed hurt Stolas. This relationship was safe and unemotional for him. That is slipping out from between his fingers.

Definitely an interpretation of the petals is "he loves me, he loves me not." Blitzø reaching out makes Stolas optimistic, but when he pulls away again, they go back to the status quo.
Stella has always hated Stolas as shown by the flashback episode, but she was more or less tolerant of him until he slept with Blitzo. The reason she's so upset is not that he cheated, but that he "downgraded". He humiliated her, which I think is honestly the only thing she cares about. By sleeping with someone from the lowest class, and in such a public way (remember, she found out in front of multiple other people while having tea), he not only tarnished his standing, but hers as well. That's where this hatred comes from imo. Also, hospitals and such are located in the Sloth ring, run by Belphegor.
@@catherineaustin2 I'm not sure if there's any lore on that yet, but tbf, would you rather have hospitals in Lust? Wrath? Sloth makes the most sense when you think of the other options. Well, maybe greed could have some too lol. I've thought of it as Sloth being the most calm and friendly, which would probably be best for hospital/care settings. But maybe we'll get more info on that when we finally get introduced to Belphegor, the sin of Sloth.

But two, I think behind that, it surprises me that hospitals are limited all to one place. Before today, I thought hospitals, like any other social and "human" infrastructure would be found everywhere, that there would be hospitals in all of hells rings. Like are grocery stores and retail limited to Greed, hotels to Lust, and gladiator type fights to Wrath? It just seemed strange to me that something as universal and necessary as hospitals are confined to only one ring.
@@catherineaustin2 Yeah, I understand that too. Maybe there are hospitals in the other rings in hell, but more concentrated in Sloth? We haven't really gotten confirmation one way or the other, but the only hospitals we've seen so far were in Sloth. Even when Striker hurts Stolas while in Wrath, they still take him to a Sloth hospital.
Also the fact that Blitz and Stolas do intense bdsm with beartraps, so of course he would see him "graverly injured" but he fully recovers, so seeing that Stolas can get properly hurt, would be a big shattering moment for him

It's also implied that Blitz and Stolas do quite a few hardcore things in the bedroom (I'm reminding of the beartraps) and clearly this doesn't actually do Stolas lasting harm, so i think that Blitzo has had it in his head that you can just slap Stolas around no problem, never really thinking about the fact that there _are_ some things that actually can hurt someone like him, even if he technically knew it.
Love your analysis at the end. Yeah, it seemed so unfathomable that Stolas could actually get hurt. Especially since think about how kinky they’ve been in their full moon nights- Blitzø used BEAR TRAPS as a good time threat. How many weapons has he used on Stolas for pleasure with Stolas just healing right away and shrugging them off? And yeah, he knows intellectually that Striker has weapons that can actually affect Stolas, but rational thought doesn’t always reach the “truths” we hold deeply.
I love how smart Stolas is. He wasn't intending to sound lewd or corny mentioning how Blitzy treats him in bed, but rather buying time for Blitzy to show up and save him...

Stolas is a demon prince. Basically a god like being. How could you fathom a god being hurt. Even Stolas himself takes a lot of time to really get it. "Oh dear, this is worrisome." and "Am I in danger right now?" Even after being captured and bound with blessed ropes by an assassin hired to kill him, he's still incredulous at the idea that he'd actually be in real danger. Many reactors, after watching Loo Loo Land, question why Stolas needs a bodyguard. Truth is, he doesn't, he just hired Blitzo in order to get together in the theme park. Not because he thought he'd be in danger.
The text conversation really gets to me too. If you look at just how one sided it is. Blitz is always a max of three words in most cases, barely feeding into the conversation at all. Meanwhile, Stolaz is so desperate to connect with him that he is writing paragraphs.
But I feel that’s cuz Blitz doesn’t know how to connect, not that he doesn’t want to. Blitz isn’t as educated as Stolas, see all the spelling mistakes. He doesn’t have the words. He doesn’t trust that someone like Stolas can genuinely care for someone ‘beneath him’, even though Stolas doesn’t think that way. To me that’s the part that hurts- I think the feelings are there, they just can’t communicate
@@reinrose82 It doesn't even have to be that he isn't educated (though I'm sure that would aggravate his problems). I suspect that he actually has dyslexia. I have a family member with the condition and it makes writing (and reading) even short texts very time consuming and frustrating. Stolas is sending texts that aren't always straightforward, meaning it takes a lot of energy to parse, especially for Blitz who very definitely isn't fluent in Emotions (and that wall of a paragraph after Ozzies... ffs Stolas, do smaller chunks). So, in response Blitz just types out the shortest possible answers where he doesn't expose any emotional vulnerability in himself - instead of trying to guess what Stolas really means it's easier to just ignore the problem.
But stolas also throws out mixed messages left and right with his constant back paddling. It comes from his own insecurities and wanting to not be a bother to blitz but blitz reads it as rejection and like stolas doesn't actually want to see him. His replies are short as a kind of self protection for blitz if that makes sense.... they are just completely different communicators completely talking past each other and hurting each other in the process......
@@reinrose82 Oh I totally agree! Stolaz has all the words but none of the perception to see what his station, his privilege, has cast over their relationship's inception. Meanwhile, Blitz doesn't have the luxury to see around it. It's all he CAN see, to his detriment because there is so much more there but his life is cast in the shadows of poverty, guilt and never being enough for anyone.
Emotional pain of this episode aside, I do love that you enjoy the series and how it makes you whiplash from being teary eyed to keeling over dying of laughter
When Blitz says the whole "he got...what..? He can get hurt...?" Fuckin gets my heart all messed up every time! Man thay line was delivered so damn well.
That texting thing gets me everytime. People keep thinking Blitz is just a jerk who texts minimally but I think it’s deeper than that. Like, Stolas is a Prince and has full education but as an Imp, Blitz probably has trouble reading and writing or even dyslexia. So him texting first showed me how much he cares but he doesn’t have the words to say it outright.
The reason why Loona didn't have any lines was because Erica Lindbeck was grieving for the loss of her fiancee, fellow voice actor Billy Kametz (RIP). Fun fact, they both voiced in Persona 5 Royal together because Erica is the voice of Futaba and Billy voiced Dr. Maruki.
Love your reaction like alwayzzzzzzzz!!! I think at the start that Blitzø definitely wanted to go save Stolas because he acts like that with throwing the car into gear and heading his way and also whenever he’s dragging Loona into the hospital and he’s complaining the fact that Stolas is in trouble and he can’t be there to save him. And when we see the messages from Stolas to we see that Blitzø finally responds first hoping that Stolas gets better soon you can see that he’s typing again whenever Stolas tells him to come visit him in the hospital, but then stops and just leaves it like that which I think he is getting ready to say “sorry I wasn’t there to save you” which in my opinion Blitzø sees IS his fault and feels like a failure to someone he cares about because if it was anyone else he could brush it off with an “oh well” As the plant is weltering it’s almost symbolizing the petals of a flower he loves me, He loves me not. Also Striker is voiced by Edward Bosco since Norman Reedus did have to work on his other work I’m sure, but Ed had voiced many like the pilot voice for Alastor in Hazbin Hotel, also he voiced Millie’s Dad, the bouncer at Ozzie’s, and Dennis who Blitzø was sucking face! I’m sure more but what’s so great about him voicing Striker is Vivienne told him that’s His character and don’t be Norman Reedus be Your Striker!

Something I thought about was that Stolas and Blitz have a very...unique experience in the bedroom. All that talk about bear traps and using sharp objects made me think that Stolas enjoys feeling what pain he can since it's so difficult for a Goetia to experience it. Because of that, Blitz has spent all this time using regular-ass bear traps and knives and whatnot and seeing Stolas 'act' in pain but then get up like it was nothing. Of course the prince couldn't get hurt! Blitz hurting him is normal, and Stolas has never cracked before! I think Blitz has never considered that even though the toys they use in bed can't hurt Stolas, other things can bring him pain, like blessed rope and angelic weapons, and Blitz himself.
The ring that the hospital was in was the Sloth ring, and this was its first appearance. The hospital, funnily enough, is in fact called St. An's Hospital. So you were sorta right the first time. xD
Reading the text messages on Stola's phone since the fiasco at Ozzie's gives some extra context. He clearly heard what Blitz said about Stolas only wanting sex. Ever since then he's been making an effort to show he's interested in more. He stopped using the grimoire as leverage to get Blitz to come over. He started asking if they could just spend time together catching up. Personally, I see the wilting flower as a representation of Stolas' dying hope that Blitz will ever feel the same - possibly his dying hope that he'll ever find love.
What I've realized is, Blitz realizing Stolas can get hurt is actually going to make him back away from Stolas more. Because everyone he's loved has gotten hurt or worse somewhere down the line. And part of the reason he keeps Stolas around is because he thought, "nothing I do will ever cause Stolas to die or get injured". But now that isn't true... And I'm worried how Blitz will internalize that and how he'll act around Stolas or if he'll avoid him even more. :(
Here’s the thing that I’m terrified of, is Stella has a way of getting Stolas dead and still getting all the money, which would be by killing Via first. Stella would never come up with this idea herself, but it’s clear her brother would. And I’m not sure if Stella would be too against it, seeing she doesn’t seem to care for Via either. Striker would be all for it, by what he said about Via to striker. I’m petrified that something is going to happen to Via, possibly ending with her dead, before this whole situation can be resolved.
At this point, I think Stella’s bother has a plan and wants everything for himself, his behavior is also extremely questionable (and weirdly incestual) and I doubt he is simply wanting to help Stella. He wants stolas’s shit for himself.
That ending gets me every time I watch it 😢 I think Blitz has such a hard time responding he doesnt know what to say to Stolas because he feels so much guilt because he didnt realize how serious the situation was. He feels bad about not being there for Stolas and the realization that he almost died he almost is afraid to face Stolas. I think it also plays on him past trauma of ppl he loves or cares about the most getting hurt because of him he carries guilt about his mother and what happened to Fizz.

I always saw this as a duel meaning, that Stolas can be hurt physically... but that moment at the end proved his emotions were hurt far worse and Blitz has been one of those sources of pain... 😭
He’s got an intense healing factor and can only be permanently injured or killed by weapons with angelic properties(which Kind of implies that the Ars-Goetia, deadly sins and other royalty are fallen angels and/or descendants of them.)

Just to let you know Omn1 (and anyone else who’s interested) there are 3 Helluva boss Youtooz that are out and available currently (Blitzo, Loona and Stolas) it says they ship 15 April - 15 May so I do t know if they’ll just go or remain until they run out after the 15th May but thought I’d say anyway. (I may have been up to 2am the other night when I found this out and bought all 3 of them 😂)
Viv confirmed that if certain characters didn't play a significant role in early episodes like Loona it was easier on their limited budget at the time not to have them speak. Though viv says that she regrets not giving loona more dialogue, including the episode Western energy. She also went on to say that loona does more and is in more episodes this season we still have 5 episodes of season 2 to go I'm sure loona will be in at least a few of them. I went to a helluva boss panel earlier this year and Erica said that she has recorded a lot recently, obviously for season 3. So it's safe to say that loona will be in even more episodes and have more dialogue for season 3. But my thoughts are with Erica Lindbeck after the loss of her fiancé. 😔

It's not surprising that the creator of his own series is also the voice actor of the characters in it. Seth MacFarlane has voiced the main and other characters in his own TV shows Family Guy and American Dad.
@@MarkMark-lx6gl I mean, the creator absolutely has the opportunity, but it's absolutely not a given that the creator will also do voice work. Voice acting is a skill. It's kind of like whether or not an author will do the reading for an audiobook version of their work. Some will do it just fine, some do it amazingly, the majority really doesn't have the chops for it, or just don't feel comfortable with it.
While the finale of season 1 set up the tension between Blitz and Stolas well, and 2x1 set up our sympathy for Stolas’s plight, this one establishes that Blitz truly does care for Stolas, but struggles to express it.

"he can get hurt" Makes me think of the Bear Traps he threatens Stolas a good time with. Remember how Angels can only be killed with Angelic Weapons ? Stolas wouldn't give Blitzy anything actually deadly while heaving fun, so Blitzy propably already did things that would wound any Imp, but didn't face Stolas.
I love how much of a good audience you are, really. You laugh at jokes, you're on the verge of tears for the characters, and it's easy to vibrate with the episodes with you, and it's nice and refreshing

I think the reason Luna never said anything this episode was because the voice actress actually had some IRL stuff going on, so the shot side plot just had whimpering in place of voice work? Also that line from Blitz "he can get hurt?!?" just really hits! Hope they write in a full on murder scene for Stella though...Never did like that bitch xD

In my opinion the petals falling off of the rose were referring to the “does he love me, does he not” thing, as each different petal falls and at the end we see an empty rose that ends on “does he not”
I think Blitz needs to be the one to fight for the relationship at this point if it's ever going to work. Because although I think Blitz does care about Stolas genuinely, it's been very one sided. I think he need his own character development ASAP, where he figures out how to handle his past and work through his own insecurities, and then they can go from there Kind of slight spoilers below? The fact that Stolas is getting the Asmodean crystal for Blitz so he doesn't need the Grimoire also makes me think this. Because at this point Stolas is doing everything he can to make sure their relationship is no longer this transactional thing built on a weird power dynamic. It's up to Blitz whether or not he accepts that and reaches back out anyway for something real

I loved this episode, Stolas’s stabbing was SOO intense, it was amazing!! And so violent!! It felt so real!! I loved it!! It was so dramatic and I was open-mouth STARING, it was SUCH a edge-of-your seat scene that got me HOOKED. It was SO good. I LOVED it!!!❤
I have a similar story to tell about me and my mom. We were on the road one day, and a big moving truck came bounding around a corner from a neighborhood. It tipped on two wheels and my mom threw her arm in front of me as she slammed on the brakes. The truck went back on all four wheels, and I was basically unaffected. I think back now though, and we could have both died that day.
Interesting detail: pay attention to the flower petals falling in the last hospital scene. He loves him, or he loves him not? You tell me which one was the last 😉
The reason why Striker voice actors knew is because Norman Reedus had scheduling issues so he couldn’t do it for this and the next episode he’ll be in. Which is sad because I love how he fits the role. Also, the reason why Loona is scared of getting her shots is because in the pound when they’re over age, they would have put her down, sadly just like real life.
Since you've caught up to all of Helluva Boss, and if you are in the mood for more independent animated shows, You should totally give Murder Drones a shot! If not Murder Drones, at least watch The Amazing Digital Circus by the same creators, Glitch Productions

Say what you want, but I think Edward Bosco did a heck of a job portraying striker as menacing. His you don't get to talk over me moment really served to flesh out the social tensions between most hellborn and royals. I won't say it's my favorite character or that future portrayals are perfect, but that at least was spine chilling! Love helluva fridays man

I think the "He can get hurt?" line very much had a double meaning, too. Up until now he's treated their relationship recklessly just like all his others to keep Stolas at arm's length, and I think he's realizing that Stolas is sensitive and his coldness can indeed hurt Stolas.
This relationship was safe and unemotional for him. That is slipping out from between his fingers.

Stella has always hated Stolas as shown by the flashback episode, but she was more or less tolerant of him until he slept with Blitzo. The reason she's so upset is not that he cheated, but that he "downgraded". He humiliated her, which I think is honestly the only thing she cares about. By sleeping with someone from the lowest class, and in such a public way (remember, she found out in front of multiple other people while having tea), he not only tarnished his standing, but hers as well. That's where this hatred comes from imo.
Also, hospitals and such are located in the Sloth ring, run by Belphegor.

Well, maybe greed could have some too lol. I've thought of it as Sloth being the most calm and friendly, which would probably be best for hospital/care settings.
But maybe we'll get more info on that when we finally get introduced to Belphegor, the sin of Sloth.

But two, I think behind that, it surprises me that hospitals are limited all to one place. Before today, I thought hospitals, like any other social and "human" infrastructure would be found everywhere, that there would be hospitals in all of hells rings. Like are grocery stores and retail limited to Greed, hotels to Lust, and gladiator type fights to Wrath? It just seemed strange to me that something as universal and necessary as hospitals are confined to only one ring.

We haven't really gotten confirmation one way or the other, but the only hospitals we've seen so far were in Sloth. Even when Striker hurts Stolas while in Wrath, they still take him to a Sloth hospital.

It's also implied that Blitz and Stolas do quite a few hardcore things in the bedroom (I'm reminding of the beartraps) and clearly this doesn't actually do Stolas lasting harm, so i think that Blitzo has had it in his head that you can just slap Stolas around no problem, never really thinking about the fact that there _are_ some things that actually can hurt someone like him, even if he technically knew it.

Love your analysis at the end. Yeah, it seemed so unfathomable that Stolas could actually get hurt. Especially since think about how kinky they’ve been in their full moon nights- Blitzø used BEAR TRAPS as a good time threat. How many weapons has he used on Stolas for pleasure with Stolas just healing right away and shrugging them off?
And yeah, he knows intellectually that Striker has weapons that can actually affect Stolas, but rational thought doesn’t always reach the “truths” we hold deeply.
I love how smart Stolas is. He wasn't intending to sound lewd or corny mentioning how Blitzy treats him in bed, but rather buying time for Blitzy to show up and save him...

It took Blitz five years to get the appointment was because the hospital is in the Sloth ring.
Stolas is a demon prince. Basically a god like being. How could you fathom a god being hurt. Even Stolas himself takes a lot of time to really get it. "Oh dear, this is worrisome." and "Am I in danger right now?"
Even after being captured and bound with blessed ropes by an assassin hired to kill him, he's still incredulous at the idea that he'd actually be in real danger. Many reactors, after watching Loo Loo Land, question why Stolas needs a bodyguard. Truth is, he doesn't, he just hired Blitzo in order to get together in the theme park. Not because he thought he'd be in danger.
The text conversation really gets to me too. If you look at just how one sided it is. Blitz is always a max of three words in most cases, barely feeding into the conversation at all. Meanwhile, Stolaz is so desperate to connect with him that he is writing paragraphs.
But I feel that’s cuz Blitz doesn’t know how to connect, not that he doesn’t want to. Blitz isn’t as educated as Stolas, see all the spelling mistakes. He doesn’t have the words. He doesn’t trust that someone like Stolas can genuinely care for someone ‘beneath him’, even though Stolas doesn’t think that way. To me that’s the part that hurts- I think the feelings are there, they just can’t communicate
@@reinrose82 It doesn't even have to be that he isn't educated (though I'm sure that would aggravate his problems). I suspect that he actually has dyslexia. I have a family member with the condition and it makes writing (and reading) even short texts very time consuming and frustrating. Stolas is sending texts that aren't always straightforward, meaning it takes a lot of energy to parse, especially for Blitz who very definitely isn't fluent in Emotions (and that wall of a paragraph after Ozzies... ffs Stolas, do smaller chunks). So, in response Blitz just types out the shortest possible answers where he doesn't expose any emotional vulnerability in himself - instead of trying to guess what Stolas really means it's easier to just ignore the problem.
But stolas also throws out mixed messages left and right with his constant back paddling. It comes from his own insecurities and wanting to not be a bother to blitz but blitz reads it as rejection and like stolas doesn't actually want to see him. His replies are short as a kind of self protection for blitz if that makes sense.... they are just completely different communicators completely talking past each other and hurting each other in the process......

Meanwhile, Blitz doesn't have the luxury to see around it. When Blitz says the whole "he got...what..? He can get hurt...?" Fuckin gets my heart all messed up every time! Man thay line was delivered so damn well.
That texting thing gets me everytime. People keep thinking Blitz is just a jerk who texts minimally but I think it’s deeper than that. Like, Stolas is a Prince and has full education but as an Imp, Blitz probably has trouble reading and writing or even dyslexia. So him texting first showed me how much he cares but he doesn’t have the words to say it outright.
The reason why Loona didn't have any lines was because Erica Lindbeck was grieving for the loss of her fiancee, fellow voice actor Billy Kametz (RIP). Fun fact, they both voiced in Persona 5 Royal together because Erica is the voice of Futaba and Billy voiced Dr. Maruki.

I think at the start that Blitzø definitely wanted to go save Stolas because he acts like that with throwing the car into gear and heading his way and also whenever he’s dragging Loona into the hospital and he’s complaining the fact that Stolas is in trouble and he can’t be there to save him.
And when we see the messages from Stolas to we see that Blitzø finally responds first hoping that Stolas gets better soon you can see that he’s typing again whenever Stolas tells him to come visit him in the hospital, but then stops and just leaves it like that which I think he is getting ready to say “sorry I wasn’t there to save you” which in my opinion Blitzø sees IS his fault and feels like a failure to someone he cares about because if it was anyone else he could brush it off with an “oh well”
As the plant is weltering it’s almost symbolizing the petals of a flower he loves me, He loves me not.
Also Striker is voiced by Edward Bosco since Norman Reedus did have to work on his other work I’m sure, but Ed had voiced many like the pilot voice for Alastor in Hazbin Hotel, also he voiced Millie’s Dad, the bouncer at Ozzie’s, and Dennis who Blitzø was sucking face! I’m sure more but what’s so great about him voicing Striker is Vivienne told him that’s His character and don’t be Norman Reedus be Your Striker!

Something I thought about was that Stolas and Blitz have a very...unique experience in the bedroom. All that talk about bear traps and using sharp objects made me think that Stolas enjoys feeling what pain he can since it's so difficult for a Goetia to experience it. Because of that, Blitz has spent all this time using regular-ass bear traps and knives and whatnot and seeing Stolas 'act' in pain but then get up like it was nothing.
Of course the prince couldn't get hurt! Blitz hurting him is normal, and Stolas has never cracked before!
I think Blitz has never considered that even though the toys they use in bed can't hurt Stolas, other things can bring him pain, like blessed rope and angelic weapons, and Blitz himself.
The ring that the hospital was in was the Sloth ring, and this was its first appearance. The hospital, funnily enough, is in fact called St. An's Hospital. So you were sorta right the first time. xD
Reading the text messages on Stola's phone since the fiasco at Ozzie's gives some extra context. He clearly heard what Blitz said about Stolas only wanting sex. Ever since then he's been making an effort to show he's interested in more. He stopped using the grimoire as leverage to get Blitz to come over. He started asking if they could just spend time together catching up. Personally, I see the wilting flower as a representation of Stolas' dying hope that Blitz will ever feel the same - possibly his dying hope that he'll ever find love.
It’s literally “he loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not.” I don’t think the flower shows what’s real, but it’s how Stolas feels.,
What I've realized is, Blitz realizing Stolas can get hurt is actually going to make him back away from Stolas more. Because everyone he's loved has gotten hurt or worse somewhere down the line. And part of the reason he keeps Stolas around is because he thought, "nothing I do will ever cause Stolas to die or get injured". But now that isn't true... And I'm worried how Blitz will internalize that and how he'll act around Stolas or if he'll avoid him even more. :(
Here’s the thing that I’m terrified of, is Stella has a way of getting Stolas dead and still getting all the money, which would be by killing Via first. Stella would never come up with this idea herself, but it’s clear her brother would. And I’m not sure if Stella would be too against it, seeing she doesn’t seem to care for Via either. Striker would be all for it, by what he said about Via to striker. I’m petrified that something is going to happen to Via, possibly ending with her dead, before this whole situation can be resolved.
At this point, I think Stella’s bother has a plan and wants everything for himself, his behavior is also extremely questionable (and weirdly incestual) and I doubt he is simply wanting to help Stella. He wants stolas’s shit for himself.
That ending gets me every time I watch it 😢 I think Blitz has such a hard time responding he doesnt know what to say to Stolas because he feels so much guilt because he didnt realize how serious the situation was. He feels bad about not being there for Stolas and the realization that he almost died he almost is afraid to face Stolas. I think it also plays on him past trauma of ppl he loves or cares about the most getting hurt because of him he carries guilt about his mother and what happened to Fizz.

I always saw this as a duel meaning, that Stolas can be hurt physically... but that moment at the end proved his emotions were hurt far worse and Blitz has been one of those sources of pain...

Viv confirmed that if certain characters didn't play a significant role in early episodes like Loona it was easier on their limited budget at the time not to have them speak. Though viv says that she regrets not giving loona more dialogue, including the episode Western energy.
She also went on to say that loona does more and is in more episodes this season we still have 5 episodes of season 2 to go I'm sure loona will be in at least a few of them.
I went to a helluva boss panel earlier this year and Erica said that she has recorded a lot recently, obviously for season 3. So it's safe to say that loona will be in even more episodes and have more dialogue for season 3.
But my thoughts are with Erica Lindbeck after the loss of her fiancé. 😔

It's not surprising that the creator of his own series is also the voice actor of the characters in it. Seth MacFarlane has voiced the main and other characters in his own TV shows Family Guy and American Dad.

It's kind of like whether or not an author will do the reading for an audiobook version of their work. Some will do it just fine, some do it amazingly, the majority really doesn't have the chops for it, or just don't feel comfortable with it.

While the finale of season 1 set up the tension between Blitz and Stolas well, and 2x1 set up our sympathy for Stolas’s plight, this one establishes that Blitz truly does care for Stolas, but struggles to express it.

I think the reason Luna never said anything this episode was because the voice actress actually had some IRL stuff going on, so the shot side plot just had whimpering in place of voice work? In my opinion the petals falling off of the rose were referring to the “does he love me, does he not” thing, as each different petal falls and at the end we see an empty rose that ends on “does he not”
I think Blitz needs to be the one to fight for the relationship at this point if it's ever going to work. Because although I think Blitz does care about Stolas genuinely, it's been very one sided. I think he need his own character development ASAP, where he figures out how to handle his past and work through his own insecurities, and then they can go from there

The fact that Stolas is getting the Asmodean crystal for Blitz so he doesn't need the Grimoire also makes me think this. Because at this point Stolas is doing everything he can to make sure their relationship is no longer this transactional thing built on a weird power dynamic. It's up to Blitz whether or not he accepts that and reaches back out anyway for something real
It's a shame that Norman was too busy to return as the voice of Striker.... but Edward Bosco did a really good job with the character.

I loved this episode, Stolas’s stabbing was SOO intense, it was amazing!! And so violent!! It felt so real!! I loved it!! It was so dramatic and I was open-mouth STARING, it was SUCH a edge-of-your seat scene that got me HOOKED. It was SO good. I LOVED it!!!❤
I have a similar story to tell about me and my mom. We were on the road one day, and a big moving truck came bounding around a corner from a neighborhood. It tipped on two wheels and my mom threw her arm in front of me as she slammed on the brakes. The truck went back on all four wheels, and I was basically unaffected. I think back now though, and we could have both died that day.

The reason why Striker voice actors knew is because Norman Reedus had scheduling issues so he couldn’t do it for this and the next episode he’ll be in. Which is sad because I love how he fits the role. Also, the reason why Loona is scared of getting her shots is because in the pound when they’re over age, they would have put her down, sadly just like real life.

Say what you want, but I think Edward Bosco did a heck of a job portraying striker as menacing. His you don't get to talk over me moment really served to flesh out the social tensions between most hellborn and royals. I won't say it's my favorite character or that future portrayals are perfect, but that at least was spine chilling! Love helluva fridays man
