The remake had a better climax and action sequence for sure! But I would have redone the plot and made the detective the killer honestly. It would have been more suspenseful and exciting in my opinion. Way less predictable There’s no realistic way, the killer saw the detective shoot his partner on accident in that thick ass fog
Stellan is up there with the best of them and I think he equals Pacino in his performance. However, the remake is better in every other category except maybe the score (a bit too bombastic for me).
No shootout in this ending except the 2002 remake.
And no heroic sacrifice.
Just trauma and quiet atonement.
better than remake
Remake is far better in direction and screenplay
@@ABHIK_SARKAR you're insane
@@ChodeMaster he's insanely correct

I love stellan Skarsgard!!!!
He dressed beautifully in this movie. I love it so so much
So the killer dies of clumsiness in the original? lol
Interesting.
If Tony Montana Mrs Doubtfire And Million Dollar Baby Is In This Movie!
Who is Million Dollar Baby?
I Just Don’t Understand Why Everyone Likes This Insomnia Movie Instead Of The One With Al Pacino And Robin Williams
Because they think that remakes are just bad and are quick to reject them without giving them a chance
It's an inferior remake. Stellan Skarsgard is a great actor too
