Champion Chris! This Sydney NSW BYD dealership is a fair bit swisher than our Melbourne ones. Dandenong is next to Coffey Ford, the showroom will hold one car. Brighton on Nepean Highway Gardenvake is well located but all the cars are outside. With the Sealion 6 you are our eyes and ears!
Hello Chris , congrats ..I was thinking of buying BMW iX1 ....Looks like I won't loose much changing to BYD Sealion 6 and saving fortune!! How long will it take to get the car delivery if we order this month from BYD blacktown. Thanks
Subscribed, well done Chris. BYD is truly awesome! Toyota is going to use BYD‘s hybrid technology this year too. BYD‘s products are really high quality and competitive price. Wish all other car companies can drop their price to help cost of living crisis.
The main driving power is the electric motor, ICE engine only clicks in at certain speed like in 5th gear in normal car, so it doesn't have a traditional gear box.
I would have seriously looked at one of these apart from their crap warranty. Shows how much confidence they have in their batteries, like all EV manufacturers!!
@@SuperCashionbut you will getting a new car right before the warranty runs out do you? A 50K car runs for 8 years that’s fare enough. Or you just keep buying a second hand in your life is also fine I guess.
What I’d really like to know is what it’s fuel consumption is once the battery is depleted. It looks to be (at best) 6l/100km (1000km from a 60l tank) but once you take the battery range of 80km off that it’s 6.5l/100km. Okay for a 2.1T car I guess. Disappointing it is FWD and runs on 95RON fuel. Also disappointing is it can only tow 1300kg (braked). It is cheaper than a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV but inferior in my opinion. Supposedly there is a Sealion 07 coming which is all electric and going to have the same battery pack as the Seal.

Hi Chris, do you happen to know the price and how long will it be deliver if I order now?
Not sure exact price, but you can order from BYD Automotive.com.au.
First delivery should be here in June according to BYD staff.
Chris did you happen to find out where the 12v battery is located and if it’s an LFP ?
I asked but BYD staff don't know where it is. I am almost certain it will be LFP.
Looks like they removed the ‘BYD Sealion 6’ badging at the back?
It could pre production model
Hey Mate, Do you remember this car having a driver seat memory. thanks
not sure but seats are only 4 way adjustment.

8 years 160km . What else do you want ?
@@holycreationUmmm. Try unlimited km warranties like Toyota and Hyundai offer for their Hybrids.
