if beasts have power, they can be called as Yaoguai. but when they get more and more power, they actually becomes the Xian (or the god). So the fox is yaoguai, but bajie and wukong are not

To get the animation at the end of chapter 6 you have to beat the secret boss Erlang, you get to him by visiting all of the secret areas in the game and completing them. After you beat the secret areas go to the great pagoda and there should be a interact on the painting in the middle to fight him. If you just go through and beat the final boss you wont get the animation at the end of the chapter.
Ok Jev not a massive commentor but for your own sake to make your time on Wukong more enjoyable, fast travel to the Towers of Karma shrine in Chapter 3, run directly forward from the camera angle at the shrine through the snow till you reach a giant stone pillar. The jade essence drink is behind and it restores a good amount of mana when you use the gourd.
he also just need to craft the current chapter armour and weapon and hes gonna have more dmg and defense but hes to stubborn to change his gear and no wonder hes struggling so much

Love your playthrough, about the ending animation, its basically a recounting of Journey to the West, Bull and Wukong were sworn brothers, the fought the Heavens together and lost, Wukong eventually got converted, after a few hundred years the main characters (including Wukong and the pig) needed Bull's wife's fan to get pass the Flaming Mountain, meanwhile Bull was trying to eat one of those characters (A living saint whose meat can grant Yaoguais true immortality), with the help of the Heavens main characters defeated and decapitated Bull (the demon didn't actually die from decapitation), pig brutally killed Bulls lover a fox demon, and another deity took away his son Red Boy, they left him a broken bull hence his state in the game.

For anyone struggling with chapter 5 final fight. The first vessel you get in the game, the flame vessel makes you immune and even heals you when you take fire damage. Totally trivializes the whole fight and most enemies in the chapter. Cheers!
Jev incase you wanted any more to do in the game, in every chapter leading up to chapter 4, there is a Loong (Dragon) bossfight, they lead up to a final one that beating it will earn you one of the best staffs in the game, along with a transformation thats way better than your fire guy. If youre curious just look up "Yellow Loong"

This Chinese story has rich connotations. For example, you thought you won, but you found out that you were just someone's tool, used by him to eliminate his enemies and strengthen his power. And you yourself are already covered in wounds. China has a huge and long history, and also established a unique philosophy and logic.
Resolute strike only works like a normal varied combo at the end of a light attack animation. It’s kinda weird because it’s not a cancel you can just use to interrupt your own combo. It’s part of its own normal combo. It just has to happen to come out when an attack hits you. You can try to time your light attacks to line up the heavy for just the right timing but that’s super difficult.
Not sure if you done it yet in this vid i haven't watched the full vid yet but if you go back to chapter 2 and go to where you fought the First Prince of the Flowing Sands Boss the big rat in the cave, once you're there use the big headbutt spirit Wandering Wight on the werid looking wall where you fight the boss then go inside grab the item and go back to chapter one and go to Outside the Forest shrine there is a waterfall on the left side of the place, once you're there use the item and there will be a really cool/hard boss well maybe not for you because you're abit ahead now but you can do this in all chapters i think I'm not to sure because I've only just got to chapter 4 so im not sure if there is one in everyplace or not but i guess there is. Chapter two is by Rockrest Flat shrine on the right and chapters 3 is on the Turtle Island shrine on the back right of the turtle. If anyone else knows where the rest are let jev know because they're really cool and sometime annoying fights and it would be funny to watch haha
You should fight erlang and the four heavenly kings in chapter 3. Return to Chapter 3's Pagoda Realm to find him and head to the Great Pagoda Keeper Shrine. Climb the stairs and speak with the Bodhisattva Maitreya, who will unlock a secret passageway. This leads to a hidden area called Secret: Mount Mei, where Erlang, The Sacred Divinity, will be waiting for you.

The staff you have is good but you need one with higher base damage even if you have to trade for a lower crit chance

For anyone struggling with chapter 5 final fight. The first vessel you get in the game, the flame vessel makes you immune and even heals you when you take fire damage. Totally trivializes the whole fight and most enemies in the chapter. Cheers!
you can still grab spell binder in the 3rd chapter, you can back to other chapters and recieve things or get things done
Jev incase you wanted any more to do in the game, in every chapter leading up to chapter 4, there is a Loong (Dragon) bossfight, they lead up to a final one that beating it will earn you one of the best staffs in the game, along with a transformation thats way better than your fire guy. If youre curious just look up "Yellow Loong"
Red boy was tough with mythical gear.. you're a madman 🤣🤣 tiger subdued pill will help with the damage fall off for the late game. Keep it up, Jev 💪💪

its okay jev, took me 5 hours for the final boss and i was maxed out on all damage, health, crit.
Red Boy (all versions) is definitely my favorite fight so far i died so many times but i loved it for some reason he actually test your skills.

Resolute strike only works like a normal varied combo at the end of a light attack animation. It’s kinda weird because it’s not a cancel you can just use to interrupt your own combo. It’s part of its own normal combo. It just has to happen to come out when an attack hits you. You can try to time your light attacks to line up the heavy for just the right timing but that’s super difficult.
Not sure if you done it yet in this vid i haven't watched the full vid yet but if you go back to chapter 2 and go to where you fought the First Prince of the Flowing Sands Boss the big rat in the cave, once you're there use the big headbutt spirit Wandering Wight on the werid looking wall where you fight the boss then go inside grab the item and go back to chapter one and go to Outside the Forest shrine there is a waterfall on the left side of the place, once you're there use the item and there will be a really cool/hard boss well maybe not for you because you're abit ahead now but you can do this in all chapters i think I'm not to sure because I've only just got to chapter 4 so im not sure if there is one in everyplace or not but i guess there is. Chapter two is by Rockrest Flat shrine on the right and chapters 3 is on the Turtle Island shrine on the back right of the turtle. If anyone else knows where the rest are let jev know because they're really cool and sometime annoying fights and it would be funny to watch haha

You should fight erlang and the four heavenly kings in chapter 3. Return to Chapter 3's Pagoda Realm to find him and head to the Great Pagoda Keeper Shrine.

15:57 unless you have anything amd in your system then the game is literally unplayable. Most amd users can’t even make it past the first cutscene and if they magically do they will never see above 30 frames regardless of how low the settings are or how powerful the system is.

Yeah i get that he wanted to play black ops 6 but he barely even tried to explore. If he even did it a little he would have had a easier time , I beat yaksha king on my second try. Honestly had more trouble when he was red boy , i died like 5 times before beating him@@tehCostHD

I'm actually running spellbinder exclusively currently. It's a lot of fun, and you can use your transformations and spirits beforehand, also as a final heal if you need it
