I was in the south of spain in May and I thought the heat was just perfect but i wasn't walking. ~April might be better? Or even March. Do people do it in march I wonder. So good to see your break down, feel like I'm being prepared.

Some people prefer to do it in winter…..bit too hardcore for me though.

thanks for you patience. I've been travelling and fallen behind with responding to comments. People walk the camino all through out the year, it can be slightly harder during the winter months as it is colder but also not all of the albergues/accommodation are open. so it would probably take a bit more planning. I like the sun and the heat, so that doesn't really bother me. If you want more stats and info from the walk, check out my website - there are blog post with the total stats which might be of interest - although - you may have already walked the camino by now!! I hope you have !!!

I lost my sunglasses on day 2 along with my hat…taken by a 80km+ wind whilst crossing the Pyrenees 🤦‍♀️
Just out of interest what do you have attached to the strap of your rucksack?
Great video Sarah. Makes me want to pack my bag and go 😂🎒🥾🥾🧢🕶️

Wow!! Big winds!!!! I was lucky with the weather. I have a ZOLEO satellite communication device attached to my pack. It’s basically allowed me to be in contact with home. Where ever I am in the world. As long as I have line of sight to the sky. It also shares my location with family. Plus if there is an emergency I can press an SOS button and get help. I’m testing it out for my big challenge at the end of the year. Which is walking in New Zealand 🇳🇿 which is going to be a lot more remote.

@@toughgirlchallenges ah ok interesting. I wondered if that’s what it was. NZ, how fabulous 😃👍 I’ll be interested to see how well it works and how you get on. Are you going alone?

Enjoying your Camino vlog. We are starting our Camino October 1 and hope to do similar mileage. I was thinking of starting a vlog so our family can follow along. What program do you use to edit. I will only be using an iPhone. Thanks!

that's awesome!! I'm so excited for you. It will be interesting to see what the weather is like in October. With the weather how it's been - it could be an incredible month. I do all my editing in iMovie - which is the free program on Mac. I don't know how to edit on iPhone. Maybe think about doing UA-cam Shorts or IG reels - that may be another option to consider? Best of luck with your camino!! Buen Camino!!!

Thanks, iMovie also works on the iPhone, I’ve discovered. Now to learn how to use it, lol.
