- We recently introduced a sneak peek into Thila Laxshman’s life as a mother to Danvi, who falls under the autism spectrum.
This is her full (and truly remarkable) story
To all parents like Thila, our hearts and admiration go out to you.

Madam, you are very strong and positive. Never lose hope.
One of my students is autistic. I love him very much. He got so comfortable with me in the class. He has a very good memory power. When I teach, it looks like he is not paying attention. But he is actually listening to every word. I take my students to music room on a regular basis. He loves dancing. As soon as the music is played, he starts to dance. He has secured the highest marks in the class in this exam. When I made all the students clap for him in the class, he hugged me and so I got emotional and I was in tears. He wiped my tears to everyone's surprise....

we have school n even kindergartens fr these special kids.thy are more talented.thy wil be guided by the special teachers since kindergarten.once their teachers cn c improvement the kids will b enrolled in d main stream wt normal kids.thy r called inclusive student.there was a boy in my year 1 class last year.he is very special to me bc he cn tell all the english phonics fluently in year 1 in january itself.their special kindergarten will b in d normal school.last week another special kid year 6...an athelete.1st the parents shud help to understand abt the special kid n enrol them in ppki.kindergartens rather than enrol in d normal class.thy do lk dt bc cant take it bt thy dunt knw thy r spoiling their kids education.thy wil b normal n umderstand us if thy r guided wt the ppki teachers.thy knew the teachniques.

My older child is in the spectrum . He’s graduating from high school this year . I have lived with this for 15 years from the time of his diagnosis . It was a tough at the same time a very enlightening and enriching experience . I have had the privilege of being my child’s mom . As we try to help them fight and overcome this challenge , so do the children . They are the true Rock stars . We as parents have been given a ringside view of their triumphs . We witness , we cheer them on , we help them succeed and we walk around with hearts full of love and pride for them . Hugs to you as a comrade in arms . Stay strong . You both rock . God bless

Mam u r Such a inspiration for me. I have a 3 yr son who has down syndrome with autism spectrum disorder. But he is adorable. I always feel blessed to have such a lovely son. Sometimes people look at him different and some of them make fun but how they can do dat ? 😢
You are really a very special mother. My neighbour child is also autistic. But these children are never harmful at all. This couple have left there own house as neighbours were not cooperating.
So they requested me my house as they wanted there son to be in the east side so he gets more sunshine. My family readily accepted and have shifted to another house. Now they are happy and especially there son is very fond of my family and loves to stay in our house. We should Never avoid such couples. Let's help them as much as we can.

A very beautiful mum, he's a lucky kid. He is truly blessed to be her child. She is a fighter, took care of her son without medication. Very good message / experience she has shared with us. The background music is strictly not appopriate. Its like making someone feel pity on them. There is nothing to pity about them but only to put our pair of hands together to show appreciation to this beautiful mom.

You are a God's Child. You are a real selfless happy mom who is facing the challenges and handling with LOVE, not the ones who are never satisfied with what a child does and making the child sick. Sometimes push them so that they commit suicide.
S correct my child doesn't speak till 3 years all r blaming with no reason I'm getting only suicidal thoughts how to deal in life bug challenge don't know where it is going to end

Only knew thila from Ennule Ennule and all I knew that each time I listened to that song, I would cry. It is my favourite song and my love song. Everything about my love is describe in that song. When I came across this video I was excited to see the singer who hasn’t got too many videos online, but she once again made me cry… it’s beautiful how she is such a wonderful singer and such a wonderful lady….
