Namaskaram mama and mami. Every year l used to keep Golu and l will call 9 kanya girl children along with elders in one day, to do Ma Durga Aarti and l used to prepared kesari and karrupu kottu kadalai sundal (black channa). In thambulam l used keep bhindi pkt, bracelet, hair pin, mehandi cone, haldi, kumkum, comb, banana, pan leaves and pakku. On that day probably it may be 7th or 8th day of Navaratri. The very same day l used parayanam of Sri Lalitha sahasranamam. Rest of the day daily Sri devi mahathiyam, Mahalakshmi ashtotram, ashtakam, saraswati slogham etc.
But this year l couldn't keep Golu due to my Husband's brother was expired.
Pls guide me apart from, to avoid Golu what are all things l can do and don'ts.
