DF Douglas High School. Opened in 1958 as a high school for black students consolidating with Flint River Farms and Macon County Training School (which stood not far from where this building is). They were known as the hornets and their colors were green and gold. their marching band was so good to the point that reportedly no one made trips to the concession stand when the band was on the field. their football team won state in 1982. It closed in 1998 due to declining enrollment and consolidated with Macon County Middle/High School. It's been abandoned for quite some time now.
