SO MANY MORE QUESTIONS I KEEP THINKING OF AS I WATCH THIS MYSELF, WHY WOULD THEY NEED TO DRILL VERTICAL VENTILATION HOLES THROUGH 50 METERS OF ROCK? WHY NOT JUST RUN PIPES AS EVERYWHERE ELSE?

And that size of ducts for normal ventilation?

Must have been for a specific purpose.

Very interesting explore Tony. What you brought up about the hidden factories/assembly/research in Austria is what my last world history teacher talked a lot about in high school. Some 45+ years ago. I hope you can persevere and uncover more of the history that was/is hiding in Austria from WW2.

@@tinostruckmann pretty much what you have said. The Third Reich had many underground installations. His grandfather was in occupied Germany/Austria after the war. Work in a Army Squadron doing a lot of investigation work on just what the Nazi’s had been up to and developing. He could not go into details because his grandfather was still alive. But said that the information released to the public was less then 10% of what he discovered and knew. So much was classified above his rank that once a discovery was made he was transferred off that squadron to another and told he was not to disclose anything under threat of a court martial. My teacher made a promise to his grandfather not to disclose details other than to say a lot of under the table and behind the back deals were being made, reports missing, discoveries covered up.

Great narration Tino as always, I agree that Austria is always "kept quiet" in regards to any production/research before and after the war, its like a small wall of silence, There are some major works within the Austrian borders Sankt Georgen an der Gusen is just one example. Hey Tino,. "my brother"... I like that, very much.
Again, astounding work. I can usually get by with just listening to a video, while looking up or watching some of it once in a while; but, Im most often multitasking as I listen. But, with your, I have to drop all the insanity part of my existence, (when I just can't take it anymore, for the day), and I kick back and walk and watch with you, and pay attention. Funny thing is, I find, your journey exhausts me, too. But, it's more to do with needing to be in the right frame of mind... To handle the eerie, evil, sinister nature of the subject matter... That, the Nazi Spector left it's ghost in those stones; and, it may never dissipate... At least, not in my mind. Maybe, for someone who doesn't know the history of such places, they couldn't care less. (While, I do believe, a person can usually just chose, to change the feel of a place, by bring a new sense of beauty a life to it, in how it's thought of, and lived in.) Something tells me, that sooner or later, those stones would somehow force a person to know, and learn. No doubt, there are plenty of wounded souls who are screaming from their ashes, to make it known. Damn it! Such is why I do what I do... Or, I should say, I'm trying to do... To give us a good civil defense system, to help prevent it.
    Anyway, thanks, again.
(It looks like my next video already started, but I need to come back for this response to this one... And, to say Hi...! And, Ho...! I'll "Yo" from the next one too. Hah.

@@tinostruckmann Yo. Good to hear from you, my friend. I see you've been very busy. It's tough for me to keep up, or even catch up... But, it's good to see you doing your thing, for us.
(I'm working on my strength, to turn another page, with you. What you teach us, must be learned, and retaught; and, never be forgotten. However, I must admit, I must prepare my soul, mind, and spirit, before pressing "play", on your videos. You put us into the exact moments, and places, where the Nazi evil happened... and still lingers. You make me feel like, I'm one of the laborers; hoping, I'm not next to be beaten to death, before dying of starvation or exhaustion or utter hopelessness...!...
And, all the reasons why we can't allow it again...!
(Which tends to burn away a man's existence, for little affect, in the "civil defense" world. Damn!
Especially, when we could fix it, relatively quickly and easily, with a matrix NGO with tech assets.
Sorry for the rant; but, "We..." needs the latter - done well - to avoid creating ground for the former, or to strengthen any useful power to such.
That is, for instance, in a "civil defense system", we need to consolidate and coordinate resources (human, material, information, environmental...); but, "We..." needs it done, by the right people, for the right reasons...
Thusly, for what it's worth, I'm sure I found a way, but I'm not good at telling folks about it; and, I'm exhausted from trying... (40+ yrs).
But... There's that OCD thing, that won't let go of it...!... So, down the rabbit hole I go... Screaming, all the way...!...
      (How's that for drama? Damn!).
      Anyway, "Yo" to you.
(Oh! The "Yo" comes from my long long long long ago ranch hand days. And, I liked using it on the DIs, in Boot, just to make sure they knew exactly who they we're dealing with... so, No bull, like what the bullies liked to try...!!!! ).
So, "Yo...!" (My long ago adopted "White Hat" greeting, since it's still a solid part of me...).
And, "Ho...!" (As in, year around...!)....

The two tunnel complexes my father visited right after their capture during the war had evidence of allied bombing near the entrance. Slave workers were still were hiding inside who were hiding out of fear the Germans would return. My father indicated aircraft and aircraft parts were bing built. It was full of manufacturing machines and parts. The truth is he nor anyone he was with ventured too far back into the tunnel complex as French slave workers were still hiding. These poor people were starving so the group my father was with placed food and water at the entrance then a guards were posted down the road. Sadly my father died less than five years after first speaking of these events.

    • @davidmicheletti6292

@@tinostruckmann Somehow he obtained a Leica camera at some point in time and did take a few photos but I only have a couple of them today. I think he won the camera somehow but I don’t know if that is true. I do know one of the towns he went to happened to be the city where Leica were made.
In his telling of these events he indicated he traveled to a valley overlook. There was a road that went into this small valley where there was a small village. The village was intact from his story as well as a bridge crossing the river. From his vantage point you could make out the path of a road working its way up the other side to a bombed out area that indicated the entrance. He didn’t say how many portals there were but my impression was there were not many. They were not the first army units to get there but it was clear the place had not been in the armies control very long. In as much as he could speak German, Italian and French he was ordered there to try to get workers out of the tunnels. My guess he had been transferred to a MP military police unit and yet was still connected to the artillery unit.
He indicated the works were French but for all I know they could have had many people from other countries.
There were other events that happened in the few months after he landed in France toward the end of the battle of the bulge to this point in time.
Keep in mind I was ten years old when I first was told of these events and my last conversation about it was less that five years later. I was seventeen when he died. I knew when to not ask too many questions as this really effect him a great deal.
He had a couple of dozen stories he spoke of but only one time did he speak of the concentration camps. He was mostly passing though the area and they dropped off their extra supples and the when into the camps to translate a little and then they moved on down the road. I do remembering him saying that local Germans were forced to visit the camps to see what had happened there.

    • @davidmicheletti6292
      @davidmicheletti6292 2 роки тому +1

I really enjoy your take on history and if you wish I could relate more events as they were told to me . If you have and idea of where these tunnels systems were it may trigger my memories of his stories.
Because he spoke to so many German soldiers while searching for SS troops he managed to make friends with a few men in the regular army units. Several of them wrote to him after the war and my sister has several of the letters. In fact one fellow asked dad if he could get him some painting supplies and he would paint a water color of him and my mom. He did this in a prisoner of war camps he traveled to. I do remember him saying that the paper used for this painting came from a small paper mill near where the battle of the bulge took place. The painting is hanging in my younger sisters wall.
On another event he was called forward to an out post. When he took a Jeep with four people to a outpost. As he approached the post a German soldier was on horseback still armed waiting for him to get there. He indicated there were others who wanted to surrender and they told them to come forward. Some sort of military police on horse back came forward across the lines. I’m not sure but in all there were something like 600 men and a bunch of wagons and cook wagons in the end of the chain. As they passed a six by six truck weapons and stuff were tossed into the bed. They were escorted to the rear lines for processing.

Just a thought on people who may be covering things up. Here in the UK, our government (Ministers & MP's) come and go like many democracies. Unlikely that decisions to lock things up come from them, because that could change when some one else is in government. So that leaves the military. They would not want to monitor this kind of thing. When they have no use for bases or underground bunkers, they are either abandoned or sold of for house building. No, these decisions are taken by the civil services in the UK. These are the ones who stay in control and keep secrets. These are the permanent services, no matter the government of the time.

Just a small observation. The wall at 20.36, if one studies closely, has the mortar 'squeezing' out from between the bricks which no self respecting bricky would put his name to and neither do we dont see such 'shoddy' workmanship in any other places on your explorations Tino. It is also in difference the the buttressing's either side of the blocking wall. They seem reasonably well finished. Either it was built from the other side so the compo could not be finished properly by the builder (as is the case when building walls facing and very close to another wall) or it was built in great haste with no time to finish the job properly. If thats the case and it was built from the other side obviously there must be another way into the tunnel from the other side of that wall. Or there was at some time.

I would argue that you are not correct there was a lot of internal struggle deportations political prisoners and killings before it became " quiet and peaceful" and you're not going to find a whole lot of people in Czech Republic who will speak kindly of Communism and Marxism or the Russians. And let's not dwell on what the Russian soldiers did to the Czech women that they spent quite a lot of time trying to sweep under the carpet. Or the various uprisings protests and killings over the years under communism in various forms but if you look apart from that.....

I would like you to search the tunnels using radar to find the tunnels that were hidden because the stuff/research inside is to big, to hard, to seacret to take out safely

the small technical tunnels could be a way to have pipes, electric and telecom cables go under a road or train track
at 18:10, the floor is new, it rests on a polyethylen sheet to protect whatever is under there
"finnish tunnels is what I wanted to see", well, you're in the wrong location there 🤣
at 38:03 the waterproofing look like rubber sheets
at 51:45 a plane engine would fit through that opening easily

Schön, aber sag doch nicht immer "Cement". Sag Concrete oder Beton. Das wird aus Kies und Zement und Wasser gemacht.

    A. Answer time. U asked why tracks lead to rocks. Let talk about T. The down shaft is for manifacturing en top is for loading. Because you dont have n open area to load n hole train. The train need to pass you to load the hole train

What I find funny,is all you have done is disturb the sleeping bear, there are tons of tunnels all over Germany and neighboring countries, You will never find the truth, only speculation, just like the Egyptians ,so many unanswered questions, how about find that gold train, and just retire?
