I think him being so clumsy plays a hand in him being a cleaner. Bcz no Asian mom would suffer their kids being extra messy and not helping her clean their own messes up. Most moms do the cleaning and cooking and every other chore, but if you are the type of person who (accidentally😂) creates more messes, there comes a time where even parental favours end😂. Same thing we needing to eat more than the other members of family eat. I myself eat slightly more than my family members and as a result I had to learn cooking or assembling food very very early (think 6-7 yr old) you start with making sandwiches/tacos, to boiling vegetables, and eggs and eventually just learn cooking as soon as you learn how to turn on the burner. As far as I can see, Mingyu definitely eats well. Better than some of his hyungs atleast.😂
I mean, anyone who marries an idol is "lucky," (unless they're actual trash and we don't know cause they're good at pretending), but whoever marries Mingyu must have stopped the end of the world in a previous life, because that's just the jackpot: successful, talented, top-tier visuals, height, responsible, funny, very amiable personality, AND good at every single household chore. There are idols who are known to be very good at particular chores (Jungkook, Irene: laundry; Kihyun, Jin, Taekwoon, Irene: cooking; Hongbin, Hoseok: cleaning) but Mingyu is good at literally everything. Super impressive. (Also, unlike idols who can cook certain fancy dishes, this boy's repertoire includes basic home-cooked meals... really like a mom. XD)
