He grew up to be a professional skateboarder, winning a silver medal in the World Beach Games in Doha in 2019, and representing Puerto Rico in the men's park event in 2021 at the Tokyo Olympics. In 2023, he took the bronze in the Pan American Games in the men's park/Urban Sports Esplanade skateboarding competition. It just goes to show that anyone can fall down, but what matters is getting back up and never letting your dreams get away!
@@askauntbianca7753yeah the poor young fella was so upset and I get it. My mates 3 daughters all figure skated at a high level. All 3 travel overseas from Australia to compete in world championships. It was a huge commitment to training, self discipline and a huge financial hit for my mate and his wife . The three girls were all at school at the time and went on to complete university degrees. The poor kid did his best and the pressure would be huge at that age. I really respected him for not taking it all for granted and I dare say the effects of the high level pain relief probably amplified the stress. I've been given intravenous pain relief (medical grade fentanyl)on the way to hospital and all I wanted was to be left alone and go to sleep so I can definitely understand a 14 year old wanting some privacy and some sleep. glad he went on to good success
Great call on the shark alarm! When people won’t listen, make them listen 👌🏻 it’s for their safety after all and yours as your putting your life in danger everytime you go out there for a rescue ❤
i can’t believe the ones dudes friends at 9:50 were unphased by the severity of the situation and then ignored their friend hunched over breathing heavy …. like how are none of them attending to him

@BondiRescue Life goes way too fast so I try to enjoy it as much as I can ..and travel to see the world we were in Australia in 2018 and had a great few days in Bondi beach 🏖
So, I'm thinking that Chinese gentlemen unlocked a rip current hack. He wanted to ride it, stayed calm and just floated through it. He knew exactly what he was doing, just not how insane and dangerous it was. Gotta admire that gumption 😂
Is it really that dangerous though. I grew up swimming in the surf in Queensland Australia. We get some big rips here too. He had his head well out of the water the whole time and was never going to drown. He was being monitored by the lifeguards the whole time. He just went with the flow and was totally relaxed the whole time. In the end the current just bought him safely back in. I definitely wouldn't suggest it on an un patrolled beach though. 😊
