Clocked up 100kms on the weekend with the new Dad Bods on my Evolve Hadean Carbon. Bloody awesome! Paired these with 38T gears. Also added the RipTide bushing set for Evolve (barrels 90/93a). Very carvey! But super stable. So the Dadbods really roll! Easy top speeds of 45-48Kph. Very smooth on most paths and roads. Downhill - no power acceleration needed. Fantastic on battery usage 40kms for 50% - includes a lot of uphill runs. Breaks traction easily for slides, but still grippy in deep carves. Could only say that some cracks in surfaces were a little more jarring if compared to the ABEC11 107mm wheels, which are obviously a softer durometer (74a). Overall, I am keeping the Dadbods on this board, because the rapid acceleration, easy top speeds, carvey greatness, and awesome fun have transformed this board and rider experience.
longboarding for 20 plus years, sector 9 fifty five x eleven board/ randall 180's/ and updated to dad bods from sector 9 81mm 78A. first hill i went down scared the litteral crap out of me, theses wheels are wicked fast and smooth. fastest ive ever pushed for sure by far!
Love the idea and execution. But man, these are super orange in the flesh. Would love even better for a softer duro. Need grip when I rip on my eboard. Hopefully, purple thane and orange core.
*questions* 1: any chance yall make a 95-97-100mm wheel? 2: whats the hexagon shape hole for? or its just for design? 3: is a blue 77a coming? i already have got asked that a dozen times or so from our viewers.. love ya guy! keep killen it! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Unfortunately we can't recommend it. We've tried as many combinations as possible and wheels this large just aren't well suited for drop-thru decks like the Tan Tien.
Not dedicated race wheels. But alot of people use the 75mm inheats and 80mm kegel wheels for racing from them. 80a for grip and 83a for more freeride type riding not that you cant downhill on them its just they are harder so they slide a little easier.
Oh my GOAT.. It's Huge !! Its gineminasourus ,whatever you say gigantasaurus , jamenas uh bwa menamoris, some menaf morphis , gigananordisis... Mhm gimornous
@@AlphaKilow It all depends on how loose you like to run your trucks. Since the Fattail is design to pump and flex and turn a lot, we'd still recommend using 1/2" of risers to be safe.
Well we tried them on the Icarus many time in different ways, unfortunately wheelbite was always a high probability. You could top-mount the Icarus and it will be fine, but it kind of defeats the point.
@@LoadedBoards I appreciate that reply! Unforts I'll have to stick to my caguamas but I'm not mad about that in the slightest :) Still a darn good looking wheel, wish I could run them on my current setup, but excited for new future ones!

*begins consuming ungodly amounts of beer*
Oh, wait.
(Sorry, I had to, I‘ll see myself out)
Oh man these are awesome... I want!!! Now, I'd like to see some manufacturers do larger pulleys for the outer pulley holes!
Sick wheels! Cant wait to see some NYC pushers riding them!

Ehemm!...I'm sorry, but it's not a legit wheel talk without Professor Hildenberger..
Prof. Hildenberger went to Burning Man and we haven't heard from him since.
I bought my ballona today, now I'm waiting for this urethane beauty
Perfect for aging longboarders of the 2010's!
I would have called these “Dad Mods” for their modular build. Mucho very nice!

When will you be able to transport these gargantous creations to the UK so people like me can roll to infinityyyyyyyyyyyy ( reoccurring)
We have been shipping these out all over the world for the past few weeks! We're hoping out UK distributor places an order in soon!
Stache is looking good!
Last time I was this early I didn’t have a dad bod

Halleluja and Amen ❤
Can you put that on the tan tien

I'll wait for blue ones.
do they fit my pantheon loaded trip collab?
Love these? Boosted Board Question...Which way would you have these mounted on a Boosted Mini?
Pre ordered these bad bois
Those things are obscenely big.
That's what she said😁🤫😂
Does those wheels would work with a Bhangra?
Can we use it with Dervish ?
What risers would you put on a cruiser board ?
2:10 you can see some wheelbite so... HOW DID HE NOT FALL?!?!?!
He didn’t it just barely missed touching the board with them.
Ballona with 105mm wheels? Definetly A monster truck lmfao
Love it :)
Do you recommend double risers on truncated tesseract and vanguard? Thanks !
Damn need theses bad boys for my landyachtz board.😳

holy moly those are some thick bois
How to get these wheels sponsored for a long distance endurance rider of africa ;D
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Doesn't seem that lightweight when its almost twice the weight of the hoku
Will they fit the Fattail?
They will fit everywhere topmount. Risers are the solution ;)
They fit just about any board if you use the right amount of risers! We used 1/2" risers for our Fattail on 150mm trucks and it works like a dream!
@@LoadedBoards I have 180mm Paris V3 on my Fattail. Would my configuration require less spacer?
@@AlphaKilow It all depends on how loose you like to run your trucks. Since the Fattail is design to pump and flex and turn a lot, we'd still recommend using 1/2" of risers to be safe.

anyone wanna spend the 150 and let us know if they fit the icarus so we dont have to?
They do not fit the Icarus if you keep your trucks drop-thru. They will only work if you top-mount your trucks.
😉
Might be time to develop a softer duro...72, perhaps?
