- My favorite dive so far.Cave diving and Cavern Diving in the Devils Den. Kinda dangerous. No we did not go past the "your gonna die if you go past here signs". If you ever get a chance check this place out, you can snorkel here too!

Cave diving sure is scary looking. I'm just open water certified. I don't think I'll ever be ready for caving. We will see.
Same here. I will be going to devil's den with my family and also do some ocean diving. Not gonna even go near caves.
I had the same thought as you but just visited this place last weekend and it was fantastic! Only just recently being certified like you, it was a great place to get into this on an entry level and totally gave me a boost of confidence!!
Dont enter the cave until you are dive certified and even then you are always learning in diving never be to confident or you’ll end up staying down then for longer then you’d even want to or could alive.

I’ve dove this site a few years ago…It’s a large open cavern with a way to the surface, so not exactly cave diving..But it does have offshoots into a cave that are well marked with the signature grim reaper….Don’t enter past those signs unless you have specific cave diving training.

A cave like that must have so something ancient living on it's dept, CP the alias of the person who died in that cave in the 90's was found on that underwater caverns with claw marks of unknown origin that probably contribute to his death.

No not everyone is a kid that’s a pussy with a doctor Phil pfp like stfu kid and stop talking go play some video games😂 and it’s fun just because you are at risk doesn’t mean it’s gonna happen that’s like me saying well it’s a risk a drunk driver could hit me going 60 mph so I better not every get in a car like no hella it’s a risk that you or anybody else could easily avoid if you are not by yourself and if you have the right equipment
@@colewilson6947 your example is ludicrously false. There several people who die doing this dive because it very dangerous. The chance of you dying from a drunk driver vs in this cave are slim. Hence why people are afraid of this cave as water is far more dangerous at deeper depths for humans. You sound ignorant and like a boorish child.

*caverndiving* , Cave diving is a form of technical diving that you need specific training for in order to do it safely. I guess they don't have any cave dive videos of DD, maybe the cave divers avoid it for the most part for certain reasons, or maybe they have some specific days where the park is closed specifically for them so there is no long wait on the stairs. The real cave divers have many more and much better options in North FL is the thing. DD and Blue Grotto are just the 2 most famous sites up there I believe.

In this cave, people where stuck and they had to swim in an unexplored area. They settled their camp there until after 2 days they decided to record themselves until one of them called for somepne, than, from behind came a humanoid bald creepy looking creature (true story)

Yeah, no, you couldnt be more wrong, this place is devils den in gainsvill fl, you pay like 30 bucks and go dive it. This is not a cave at all, but a cavern and its meant for the newest of divers to learn in. Not really that exciting at all

Yeah, this is not cave diving. This place is literally meant for open water divers. Cool vid but dont take cresid for doing " dangerous cave dive" when your doing diving the same place as open water student. If you want the glory, go get tech certs, then dive cave and earn it.
