Yes just build around it and make that place a mine shaft put rocks up around a lot of blue glowy stuff so it looks like you are digging the blue ores right out of the mountain. 😊
Everyone is saying continue All im going to say is IF you decide to dig somewhere else then try on the Pillars of Creation Mountain, BUT obviously not where the interior stuff is Its a big mountain and its centrally located (until they expand the map)
@@Kills4ThrillsGaming My main base, which apparently is goi9ng to take me 30 years to complete lol, is in the sky about 200-300 above the building on top of the Pillars It will consist of 7 or 8 inverted mountain shapes, with buildings and plantings on the flat (now top) side Unfortunately i seriously misjudged how long it takes to build 7 or 8 inverted mountains So currently it is one inverted mountain, with some buildings on it, surrounded by 7 flat "pizzas" with little to no depth under them But it is a joy to build it, and its fun to glide almost anywhere from it And - assuming i live long enough - it will one day be finished lol Im assuming you can relate to starting a MASSIVE project then wondering _"why the hell am i doing this?"_ 🤣 Im looking forward to seeing how yours turns out, the Shroud thing sucks, something i almost accidently completely avoided
You could carry on building where you can and have that area like a ruined area that the shroud has eaten away. Put in some mycelium blocks nearby as it approaches the shroud and mine into the shroud a bit
Deffo continue to make the best base you can in this location. This issue could and proberly will happen in other locations. Accept the challenge and crack on Kills👍

Might just be some random shroud placement that's unintended by the dev. It's sad for now, but they might just patch it later, I'd hate to see you abandon this build completely😥
if you do abandon the build don't abandon the design if you have to move locations and start over but with help i'm sure someone would help you rebuild i would but i dont have the game 😥

Keep going, you can do it. I think there's probably a cave or cave system at the centre of the mountain - which is why the shroud is there.
I need to dig a bit deeper to see if there is one but I think it's just solid shroud.

I do like the look of that place. That was one of the places that I was going to build before I picked the mountain that I'm using at the moment.

I say finish what you have, make a great hall where you have already dig out of the mountain and start building a castle on top!

Is there a 'Shroud Root' that you can chop down to remove that part of the shroud?

I went inside that place thinking it might be that but it doesn't go near to where I'm building. I'm going to see if I can save the build.

I'm not sure what to do at the moment. If I rebuild I will try and stick to the same style. I will need to find a new place.

You can't remove it. Once it's there then there's nothing you can do.
