i like that none of the alternate universe selves are necessarily enemies. sometimes theyre just the same species in different circumstances. other time they might never have met each other in the same situation, like the sword and the scythe. although they can both be used to take lives, the scythe is impractical to use in an actual battle (and ofc everything else the pinned comment has already said) and well... i heard spiders don't really eat ladybugs because of their smell and exoskeleton, not exactly predator and prey relationship
