How to knit german short rows

Turn the subtitles on ! (available in english and french)
Short rows consist of knitting additional rows in the same row, i.e. the work is turned before the end of the current row. This allows you to create a specific volume or shape for the work.
For the German short rows, after you have turned the work, you have to slip purlwise the first stitch from the left needle with the thread in front, then tighten this slipped stitch by ironing the thread behind so that it wraps the needle and gives the illusion of "two strands " on your needle. Be careful to knit these "two strands" together on the next round.
